I didn't say that someone blocked my post, but was trying to!
I tried posting this the week before, and after about three hours trying,
being pressed for time i finally gave up. I proceeded to try again last week, after about
four or five hours got the same response, i managed by accident to scramble this through!
Someone not trying to block the post? Then why, after i self replied with a grievance,
why did the other posts come out correct!?

I know that the things i write about are offensive to some, many, and it is not in
my delight to scare people. But i write about things i firmly believe in. What modern
christians need, myself included because this little script was written in address to
myself, is affliction. Anyone willing to take heed!

Re: Dialogue Between Affliction And A Dreamer

    Oh what a beautiful morning
    Oh what a beautiful day
    I have been so blessed
    Everything is going my way
Actually that is what i want to believe
And that is what i want people to see
    But the real truth is...

I do not want to show it
And i do not want anyone to know it
So i will suppress and repress it
The fact that I am really terrified of facing life
And this person, the real me
And do not want to open my eyes
    To the truth, to see
Lets face it, you and me
Are in the same boat, living a lie
Therefore do not uncover my facade
As i go along the way
    Wearing the mask of gaiety
Why go through the labyrinth of life
When all need be done is surrender myself
    To the powers that be
    Go through life semi-consciously
Never to venture far from my nest of security
So, rock me to sleep, sweet mama,
    Rock me to sleep
And sing me the lullabye, telling
    Of sweet things to savour
How every ''good boy'' gains favor
And about how the sun will always shine
    Pouring its blessings on me
For our aim in life, is not to suffer
But to be happy, happy, happy, happy
Therefore, keep on rocking me to sleep,
Sweet mama, rock me to sleep
As i close my eyes to the real world
And drift away into the fairyland of fantasy

    Meanwhile as our subject slept
    There, in his inner depths
Cruel reality (affliction), from the real world
Came to pay him a visit
And gave a knock on his door
You can call it a wake up call
To test, to see, what his reaction will be
But it only served to startle and agitate him
    Beyond that, nothing more
And in a torpid mood, muttered he
    ugh, what was that
    Something ominous seems to be
    Lurking in the shadows
Something that i cannot identify or see,
    Who are you, reveal yourself
And what right have you got
To steal into my inner chambers
    Enter my secret thoughts
    And disrupt my sleep!
    The disruptive force, he still
    Could not identify, cept that
It was antagonistic to his nature
And that his comfort zone was breached
And so, on continued, to say he
    Whoever, whatever you are
I did not ask for you
So why did you then uninvited,
    Unwanted, into my life intrude
Go therefore, back to the shadows
    Whence you came from
    And leave me be!
And, hey,hey mama, rock me back to sleep
Please rock me back to sleep

I will not! a shrill voice
    From the shadows replied,
My purpose is to come and bring affliction
I pull on bow, take careful aim
And shoot my arrows to wound my victim
To bring turbulence upon a soul, that has
Fallen into a state of complacency
And stir the wells where passion runs deep
I was stalking your dreams, continued affliction
In the stillness of the night
And watched as you were slowly, slowly
    Snuffing out your light
I watched as your world was getting dimmer
And dimmer and you were falling, falling
    Into the dark underworld
I heard the helpless cries of your soul
You were closing the door to life, to yourself
And totally oblivious to it you are
So call me cruel, horrendous, whatever
I came to do your soul a service
    To awaken you from slumber
To teach a man to strive!
    Everyone is seeking to escape
From their problems, angst and inner emptiness
And want to live in the delusioned state
    Of, all is well
But imagine a life without variance, sorrow and suffering
Enclosed in yourself would you not remain
    And never come into being!

But i am well learned and adjusted
And know ''the secret'', said he
    I believe in it wholeheartedly
    And faithfully follow the rhythn
    Of mama's beat
So no, no, no, you got it all wrong
A person afflicted with doubts is negative, a loser
To have a positive outgoing attitude will suffice
If one is to succeed in life<BR>So buzz off pleassse
And alow me to go back to sleep!

    Oh really, affliction replied
Your tormentor i will continue to be
Till you open your eyes to see
    If you then still refuse
Then on the way to perdition you will be!
Listen, what good is all your positive thinking,
    Beliefs and whatever
If in reality your soul is in the midst
Of the ocean sailing off into nowhere?
Or if a heart of flesh that can feel
Has been transformed into synthetic plastic
    An automaton without a soul
Or a self that is real?
Or if in your mind you are atop the highest pinnacle,
How far is it from the bottom?
Would i be the cruel one you set me out to be
If i came and disrupted your dreams
To perhaps, show you your inner state of being
So that you may awaken and see the sign
Yoo, Hoo: This way back to you!

Take me therefore for the teacher that i am
    Cruel but benevolent
The winds may blow hard upon a certain person
    For a specific reason
    To teach a life lesson!

    I "fixed" your original post.

The <BR> that you were seeing and can still see in the original post is computer code for a line break.

I have no idea how it happened but it is "fixed" now.

I guess we will never really know how it happened! Hope people, after wasting so much
time trying to post this, can understand my frustration! Thankyou Vhayes, for taking the
    time to fix it!

Ok, now I understand your problem. HTML code is turned off here; it is too easy to place malicious code within the text file of HTML...we use a special code that is very, very simplistic for those who just have to try to code the appearance...
