I just don't understand the whole Facebook hype. At all. I created an account to see what all the hubub was about and was not impressed. Why people want to spend their time posting little snipits about their life for the whole world to see is beyond me.
Will pray for Tina for her desires to change.

I have not posted in a long time but something told me to respond.
Basically she is extracting supply from these people online to feel good about herself. The cancer has traumatized her and she is having trouble coping and has retreated into an internet fantasy world where she has thousands of friends that love her and give her the attention via her victim status. The internet has replaced some of her ego functions and from what you described she can not regulate her own ego on her own without it. This isn't something to take lightly because those people are not real. This might be worse than substance abuse if it is allowed to continue she will end up with arrested development (depending on how old she is) I know I used a lot of psychobabble but I am really alarmed with this story. I have already said a prayer for you guys. I'm so sorry to read this.
