Elderly sister in Christ and abusive children

My wife heard something disturbing during prayer time at bible study last night. After our study we split into gender groups to pray.

Apparently an elderly woman in our congregation is being abused by her sons. She has dialysis regularly and is in hospital lots. One of her sons takes away all her equipment needed to help her around the house every time she is in hospital and is surprised when she comes home. He is basically waiting for her to die so he can take the house. The other son regularly beats her. She won't get the authorities to stop them.

Pray for her.
Also pray for bother her sons, that they will come to know Christ like our dear sister.

God gave us a mind to rationalize and a mouth to speak. I would suggest that her brothers and sisters in Christ seek to keep her out of harms way. I pray the Lord protect her and enable men and women of the congregation to visit her periodically and give her assistance that she needs.

Call the pastor or elders of the church so they can get involved. Someone needs to step in and help.

Praying for this woman to get the wisdom and courage to take action that Messiah wants her to take, whatever that is, incluidng maybe getting someone else to intervene.
