My Patriots sitting at #5 right now: with all the injuries we have at the moment, I am suprised. If I were to do a "Power Ranking" based on last weeks game, I do not think they would be in the top 10.

    Cool Story

Cool story... this afternoon I went to a church member's home to pray for his sick father in law. While I was there, a friend of the FIL stopped by and the church member introduced him as being an old NFL player. We talked for a while about his days in the NFL, which were the late 60's and early 70's. It was cool to hear the stories, but of course as soon as I left I googled him on my iphone to see if he was legit. He was, even the pictures of him were obviously him. He was the Rookie of the Year in 1968 and a two time Pro Bowl player. His last years were with Houston and he said Earl Campbell took his place.

    Paul Robinson

We prayed together and he told me he was going to come visit my church.

My Patriots play tonight: wonder if we will see Geno Smith do a Mark Sanchez redoux:

The Patriots are a Dolfans worst nightmare. I remember back in the 80s when New England was having a 13-1 year...oh MAN how we laughed at that.

    No one is laughing now

*edit* That was supposed to be a "1-13 year"

I watched the game - Clemson and Georgia. Great game. I was rooting for Clemson.

    Of course I'm a die-hard Buckeyes fan.

But I'm with you; I watch very little pro but love college football.

Patriots O is a work in progress right now: I think once the rookies get "on the same page" as Brady, it will be amazing. A win is a win, and 10 days off right now will help us out.

If the Patriots receivers wouldn't have been dropping passes all over the place the game wouldn't have even been close. If Geno wasn't playing like he was a deer in headlights the Jet's might have squeaked one out.

But after all of the coulda, shoulda, woulda's ( that mean nothing. All that matters in the end is the W or the L ) that Pat's are 2-0 and can only get better with Belichick at the helm. Your D looked very good so that's a plus.

I am going with the Chiefs on that one as well. I just hope the Dolphins can pull off an upset over the Colts.

    Woohoo!

The Dolphins get a tough on the road win against the Colts! 24-20 ( the game was basically over after the 3rd)

The Chiefs edge the Cowboys 17-16

    Re: Cool Story

I am honestly happy with my Patriots right now: this issue they are having is making the defence work harder together, while allowing TB12 to learn to try to rely on others. We may not have the #1 offense this season, but I will take a top 10 offense if we can have a top 10 defence.

Going back to our championship roots......
