Ok...it's that time again. FOOTBALL SEASON!

My favorite team is the Dolphins. While they did manage to win their opener they have a tough tough schedule this year. I would love a 9-7 finish but I am thinking 7-9 or 8-8 is more realistic.

Who is your favorite team and what are your expectations of them this year?

I'm a proud member of Steeler Nation and I would be the first to admit that I usually see the world through black & gold colored glasses.

What do I expect this year? I expect Steeler nation to be bitterly disappointed. I'll be pleasantly surprised if they manage 8-8 this year and ecstatic if they do more than that.

Sometimes those glasses get knocked of my face by hard and cold reality. Ouch.

    STEELER NATION represented here...

Yesterday was bad news and good news... We played horrible (especially on offense), but we are tied for 1st place

We lost 4 players to injury yesterday - 3 likely for the season, including Pro Bowl center and starting MLB... Ughhh

I am a pure Red, White and Blue Patriots fan. I have followed them since 1971 (and yes, a card carrying member of Red Sox Nation, as well as a Bruins fan. Not a basketball fan, but do "root" for the Celtics when I think of it).

I feel we will go 13-3. Win our Division. Have the #2 seed in the AFC(Denver, with it's cheese cake schedule will be #1 at 14-2). But we will go to the end, and beat the Texans to go on to the Super Bowl where we will play..........

a West Coast team: the Seahawks. And we will beat them in the snow 17-10. And Tom Brady will win his 3rd SB MVP.

Doesn't help when you lose key players the first game.

I am a clemson Tiger fan. I could care less about pro ball.

Let's see how the Chiefs do this year. They have nowhere to go but UP.

So much going on in the life, this season crept up without me even noticing. Guess I sort of abandoned my life-long love of the game. I like reading about and catching updates on Colin Kaepernick, however. This guy is something else - more than up and coming.

This is true however we were in trouble long before the first regular season game even started. Don't get me wrong I would love to see my Steelers pull a 500 pound rabbit our of their helmet and bring home another Lombardi this year ( It could happen!) I'm just being realistic about it.

Anyway, Fantastic game by the Eagles and Redskins tonight. The Redskins did their best to to come back from behind and win that game and it was a pretty exciting finish to watch. I'm not a fan of either team but, hey, a good game is a good game.

Ok...here are the latest power rankings. Where does your team stand?

Dolphins #17 but right behind the Giants?

23... About where they should be after their lackluster performance Sunday.

Well the dolphins are listed last behind all the teams that actually won on Sunday. They are even behind one that lost
