Re: Help with a substance called Kratom
I can affirm that you aren't exaggerating. I never used it myself but everything I've heard and read says it is nasty, nasty nasty. It's highly addictive and the cravings for it can be horrible.
I recommend either a sauna ( or if you don't have access to one ) running your shower as hot as it gets and sitting in the steam for a while to try to sweat what's still in your fatty tissues out.
The drugs get stored in there and can linger for weeks or even months at a time. Sweating helps to get them out of your system a lot quicker. IF you do this make sure you take some good multi-vitamins and supplements and drink lots of water.
Daily exercise is also good not just for the physical benefits but the mental benefits as well. The more you do it the better you'll feel, no joke. It's essential for recovery but just make sure you don't over do it.
My last suggestion? Ask your pastor if he can recommend a councilor for you and, most important or all, spend a whole lot of knee time seeking strength and the faith needed to see you through this.
The good news is that there another side, you -can- get past this and build a brighter future for yourself. Have faith, involve your wife ( or husband. Sorry I don't know which sex you are) and let her help you through this.
Best of luck to you.
Day by day, Oh Dear Lord
Three things I pray
To see thee more clearly
Love thee more dearly
Follow thee more nearly
