How To Get To Heaven When You Die

PLEASE TAKE THE TIME TO READ THIS. IT'S THE MOST IMPORTANT THING YOU COULD EVER DO AND IT ONLY TAKES A FEW MINUTES.

ARE YOU 100% SURE THAT IF YOU DIED TODAY THAT YOU WOULD GO TO HEAVEN?

There are some things that you should know:

    1. Realize that you are a sinner and in need of a Savior:

Ro 3:23 "For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God;"

Ro 3:10 "As it is written, There is none righteous, no, not one:"

This all began with the story of Adam and Eve in the garden of Eden. God created them perfect, there was no death or sorrow. God told them not to eat of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil. They disobeyed God and as a result, sin entered into the world. The pain which this world sees is the result of sin.

    2. Because of our sins, we die both spiritually and physically, but God sent His Son to die so that you can have a chance not to have to go to hell by accepting what He did on the cross for you:

Ro 6:23 "For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord."

Ro 5:8 "But God demonstrates His own love toward us, in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us. for us."

Every person who has ever lived is a sinner and is not righteous because we do bad things. A sin is a crime against God, just as if you steal something at the store, it is punishable by going to jail. It's the same thing with sin. Even if we lie one time, the punishment is hell, which is a prison for those who commit crimes against God. That’s because you must be perfect in order to get to heaven. No matter how well you live your life from then on, you have already committed a sin which will be punished if you are not pardoned. If you commit a crime, and then live as a good citizen you still will go to jail for the crime you committed. Right? Just as the president can pardon a crime so you won't go to jail, Jesus can pardon your sins so that you do not go to hell, and can go to heaven when you die.

    3. If you will Admit to Jesus Christ that you are a sinner and in need of a Savior, Believe in your heart that He died on the cross and rose from the dead and Accept Him as your Lord and Savior and you will be forgiven and taken to heaven to be with Him when you die.

Joh 1:12 “But as many as received Him, to them He gave the right to become children of God, to those who believe in His name”

Ro 10:9,10 "that if you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you will be saved.."

You cannot get to heaven by being a good person, going to church, baptism or any other way other than by turning to Jesus, believing in your heart that He died on the cross and rose from the dead for your sins and placing your trust in Him. While these are good things to do, some people believe that they will get to heaven if they do these things, but the bible says that there is only one way to heaven and that is through receiving what Jesus Christ did on the cross for you.

Will you do that today? If you will, you can be 100% sure that you will go to heaven when you die.

DO YOU BELIEVE THAT JESUS CHRIST DIED ON THE CROSS AND ROSE FROM THE DEAD FOR YOUR SINS?

ARE YOU WILLING TO TURN TO JESUS CHRIST FOR SALVATION?

    4. If you are willing to accept Jesus Christ free gift of salvation pray this to God from your heart:

"Dear Lord Jesus, I believe that You died on the Cross and Rose from the dead for my sins. I ask you to come into my heart and forgive me for my sins, save me, take me to be with You when I die. I now receive You as my Lord and Savior. Thank You for saving me. In Jesus holy name, Amen."

If you have placed your faith in Jesus Christ and meant it with all of your heart, you are now a child of God and will go to heaven.

Now that you are on your way to heaven, you should attend a bible believing church and follow in baptism.

A small nitpick, God said "very good", not perfect.

Luke 18:19 And Jesus said unto him, Why callest thou me good? none is good, save one, that is, God.

When God says good he means perfect..

Re: How To Get To Heaven When You Die

Romans 3:22-26 "Even the righteousness of God which is by faith of Jesus Christ unto all and upon all them that believe: for there is no difference: For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God; Being justified freely by his grace through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus: Whom God hath set forth to be a propitiation (appeasing sacrifice) through faith in his blood, to declare his righteousness for the remission of sins that are past, through the forbearance of God; To declare, I say, at this time his righteousness: that he might be just, and the justifier of him which believeth in Jesus."

We can be saved from the wrath of God, because Jesus Christ, the Son of God, died on the cross as a sacrifice for our sins and rose from the dead. He paid the price for us, and we are justified in God's eyes through our faith in the blood of Jesus Christ.

Ephesians 2:8-9 "For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: Not of works lest any man should boast."

There will be no boasting in heaven. We cannot be saved by our own righteousness, but only by God's grace, through faith.

Ephesians 1:13-14 "In whom ye also trusted, after that ye heard the word of truth, the gospel of your salvation: in whom also after that ye believed, ye were sealed with that holy Spirit of promise, which is the earnest of our inheritance until the redemption of the purchased possession, unto the praise of his glory."
When we believe the gospel, we are sealed with God's Holy Spirit. This is God's deposit, that guarantees he will redeem us, whom our Lord Jesus Christ "purchased with his own blood" (Acts 20:28). Praise God!
Galatians 6:14 - But God forbid that I should boast except in the cross of our Lord Jesus Christ, by whom the world has been crucified to me, and I to the world.

ARE YOU 100% SURE THAT IF YOU DIED TODAY THAT YOU WOULD GO TO HEAVEN?

Yes I am, but I am also sure that I don't deserve it.

    I read once,

"Faith is being told to jump off a cliff and KNOWING you will will caught or taught how to fly."

It's not perfect, but I love it.

Galatians 2:20New American Standard Bible (NASB)

"I have been crucified with Christ; and it is no longer I who live, but Christ lives in me; and [a]the life which I now live in the flesh I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave Himself up for me."

This video kind of captures our experience. ( in a fun way )

....In the helicopter, your undecided. Searching.

The second you jump out, on a leap of faith, your born again. ( is this wing suit going to work?)

The trip down is amazing, but not without danger. Living for Christ is excitement. (Some die doing this.)

    The pick up is Heaven.

God calls creation 'good', and 'very good'; does He mean 'perfect', and 'very perfect'? I wouldn't think so; how can you be 'very perfect'? You can't be less perfect than 'very perfect', as then you would be less than perfect. 'Good' means good, and 'perfect' means perfect, and when God says one or the other, He means one or the other.

Jesus' statement in Luke 18 was meant to challenge the ruler, to have him think about why he called Jesus good, and to ultimately establish that He (Jesus) was in fact God, because He was good. His statement wasn't meant to make the kind of association that's being made here.

It was a play on words. But if you really want me to explain i will try.
Just to be clear though im not sure what you mean here, is God good or is God perfect? Personally i think the answer is both.
Now as to Good vs Very Good. I think this goes to whats going on in Genesis and the very in this passage these two references refer to namely the same thing. When God is creating each time he see's what he is creating is Good. In the last passage God see's all the things that he made (the things that he previously calls good) and pronounces the sum total of his whole work very good. Does this mean the some total was more good then the parts that make up the total? Or is he just saying that all the Good parts he made working in perfect harmony is very Good. Personally i think perfect works in this passage if you change if for good.

I personally think i'm doing a horrible job explaining this but IOW the very good is not in comparison to all the other good things he created but is the sum total. So in a car analogy i can make a perfect door a perfect body and have perfect paint and when they all come together it makes a perfect car. I can make a good door a good body and good paint and it will be a very Good car. The *very* points to a comparison but the only thing that i'm comparing it to is the parts that make up the whole in which case the whole car is Good. Or the whole car is perfect. The sum total is not more good or more perfect then its parts. Therefore even in Genesis when God saw that it was good (compared to what?) you can put in perfect (has no comparison) and the very is it being compared to the parts but is not more perfect then its parts.
Sorry i know this is a horrible explanation! But i tried lol

You said: "Then when God says good he means perfect because God is prefect (good)." This is not true. When God says good, He means good.

Matt 5:48 - You therefore must be perfect, as your heavenly Father is perfect.

God is perfectly able to distinguish in the choice of His words.

So how many people on here claim to be sinless, without fault or defect, flawless 100% of the time just like God the Father? Are we actually perfect "in that sense?" NO. Matthew 5:48 - Be Perfect - AT Robertson points out - Perfect (teleioi). The word comes from telo, end, goal, limit. Here it is the goal set before us, the absolute standard of our Heavenly Father. The word is used also for relative perfection as of adults compared with children.

So absolute perfection, sinless, without fault or defect for us will not become a reality until we are present with the Lord, but that is the goal to strive for. Yet teleioi is also used to refer to the maturity of an adult, which is the end or aim to which the child points. Thus it denotes those who have attained the full development of innate powers, in contrast to those who are still in the undeveloped state (children).

James 1:4 says - But let patience have its perfect work, that you may be perfect and complete, lacking nothing.

James 3:2 says - For we all stumble in many things. If anyone does not stumble in word, he is a perfect man, able also to bridle the whole body.

    Perfect in what sense?
Galatians 6:14 - But God forbid that I should boast except in the cross of our Lord Jesus Christ, by whom the world has been crucified to me, and I to the world.
