Those who know what is right

Isaiah 51:7-8 Listen to Me, My people, those who know what is right, you that lay My instructions to heart and do not fear the taunts of the enemy. For they will be like a garment eaten by moths, but My saving power will last forever.
My people, those who know what is right, you that lay My instructions to heart: Can only be every born again Christian person. Proved by Isaiah 51:1-7…you that seek the Lord, consider Abraham to be your father and Sarah your mother; you are their increase

For they will be like a garment eaten by moths: The Lord’s Day of vengeance and wrath will reduce the power of the godless peoples, but not totally destroy them. Isaiah 51:6 says: they will die like flies.....

Isaiah 51:9-11 Awake, Awake: arm of the Lord, put on Your strength as You did in days long past. It was You that dried up the sea to make a path for your people. And now, the Lords people, set free, will come back and enter Zion with shouts of triumph. They will have gladness and joy, while suffering and mourning will pass away.
This is the great second Exodus, by His faithful Christian people, who will occupy the holy Land, by then cleared and cleansed – great will be the Day! Ezekiel 20:33-38

Isaiah 51:12-16 I am He who comforts you, why then fear man who must die. Why have you forgotten your Maker, the One who makes all things? Do not be in fear of your oppressor, you will soon be set free. I am the Lord, your God, Y’hovah is My Name. I have put words in your mouth and kept you covered under the shelter of My hand. I, the Creator, say to Zion: you are My people. Romans 9:24-26
The Lord will protect His people on that terrible Day – a worldwide judgement of fire, in the form of a massive CME sunstrike – the next prophesied event. Isaiah 30:26-30

Isaiah 51:17-23 Arouse yourselves, rise up Jerusalem – My people. From the Lord’s hand, you have drunk the cup of His wrath and now there is no one to lead you. The disasters of the sword, famine and desolation have overtaken you, now who can console you? Therefore; listen to this, in your affliction, you that are drunk, but not with wine: Thus says the Lord [Jesus] : your God who will plead His peoples cause – I take from your hand My cup of wrath and I shall hand it to your tormentors, those who arrogantly afflicted you. Ref; REB, CJB, NIV, KJV. some verses abridged

This is another clear sequence of events: how The Lord’s Day of vengeance and wrath punishes His enemies and then, His faithful Christian people will travel to and settle in the new Land of Beulah. Isaiah 62:1-5, Ezekiel 34:11-31, Jeremiah 31
From verse 18, we can see that all this passage from Isaiah 51, is before the Return of Jesus. This will happen later, after His people have come back and are living in the Land in peace and prosperity, as so well described in Ezekiel 36 and Hosea 14.......they will again dwell in My shadow, they will grow and flourish. The same as in ancient times, with the Israelites. 1 Corinthians 10:1-4
Listen to Me! Prepare yourselves My people’: You have received all the punishments that I decreed. You are insensible, not with wine, but to the truth of the Word of your God. Amos 8:11-12, 2 Timothy 4:3-4
Now, I will take out My wrath on our enemies, but I will protect you and set you free. You will go into all that Land I promised to your [Spiritual] forefathers. Jeremiah 46:27, Jeremiah 31:1-14, Zechariah 9:16, Habakkuk 3:13, Joel 3:16, Isaiah 27:6

I once wrote you a well documented (from Ephesians) posting that the Church is not revealed to the prophets of Old. Israel is meant here, and not the Church. If the Church was a mystery kept from the foundation of the world, and only revealed to the New Testament Apostles and prophets, on what authority do you make the above statements?

And I read your post and I did not agree with the premise that there is future for ethnic Israel; the Jewish people. That idea is added to the rapture theory, so as the Church can skive off to heaven, while the Jews go thru the Great Tribulation.
Only those Jews who become Christians are part of the church, congregation, ekkelasia, the Lord's holy people; His Overcomers; literally - God's Israelites.

What I wrote in the OP, is a prophesy for us, today. We are the followers of the 'seed' of Abraham, our Lord is Jesus, whom we have not seen, but to have faith in Him, is imputed to us as righteousness.
WE Christians know what is right; WE lay Jesus' instructions to heart and we inherit the promises of God to His faithful people. NOT the Jewish apostates, atheists, LGBT, etc, people currently in God's holy Land. Many prophesies detail their demise.

1 Peter 4:7-11 The end of all things is upon us, therefore to help you pray, you must lead self controlled and sober lives. Above all, love each other, because love cancels out a host of sins. Be hospitable to one another, without grumbling and each one should use whatever gifts that they have received from God to serve others. Use your gifts and strength to glorify God through Jesus Christ, to whom belongs the glory and power for ever.
1 Peter 4:12-16 Dear friends, do not be surprised by the fiery trial which is to try you, as though something strange were happening to you, but rejoice, that you participate in the suffering of Christ, then when His glory is revealed, your joy will be great. If you are reviled for being a Christian, count yourself happy, for the Spirit of God rests upon you and if you do suffer, it must not be for any criminal deed. However, if you suffer as a Christian, do not be ashamed, but praise God that you bear that name.
1 Peter 4:17-19 For it is time for judgement to begin; it is beginning with God’s own household, as Scripture says; If it is hard for the righteous to be saved, what will become of the impious and sinful? So let those who suffer according to God’s will entrust their souls to Him, while continuing to do good; their Maker will not fail them.
1 Peter 5:10 After your brief suffering, the God of all grace who called you to His eternal glory in Christ will Himself make you perfect, establish, strengthen and settle you. Reference: Revised English Bible, some verses abridged.

The end of all things is upon us’. Peter does not mean the end of the world, but the end of this present age, our time; right now!
do not be surprised by the fiery trial’. This can refer to the persecution of the early church, but is mainly to us in the last days, as we face the forthcoming fire judgement. 2 Thessalonians 1:6-10, 2 Peter 3:7
His glory revealed’. Firstly that revealing will be to Jesus’ born again people. Later, at the Return of Jesus, He will be seen by all the world. Matthew 24:30, Revelation 19:11
The Judgement begins in God’s household’. The terrible fire judgement prophesied so many times throughout the Bible, will initially strike the Middle East, which includes the present State of Israel. Many prophecies say how all the holy Land will be ‘burnt and devastated’, Joel 1, Jeremiah 9:10-12, Jeremiah 10:18, Isaiah 10:23
make you perfect, establish, strengthen and settle you’. This will be the fulfilment of all the great promises of how the Lord will gather His faithful Christian people, Ezekiel 34:11 and how He will pour out His Spirit upon them, Ezekiel 37:14, Isaiah 35:1-10 Then they will be established and settled into all of the area promised to Abraham. Genesis 17:8, Isaiah 62:1-5

Isaiah 49:8-11 The Lord says: In the time of My favour, on the Day of Deliverance, I will come to your aid. You are My people, destined to be a light to the nations and to restore the Land. Go free now and in the Land, you will find food and water in plenty. It will not be too hot when the One who loves them will guide them along highways. My people; coming from all parts of the world, will shout for joy as they enter their Land. For God will comfort His people in their distress.

Wouldn't "those who know what is right" be the same as "those who understand"?

Here is what befalls us in our near future...

Daniel 11:31 And arms shall stand on his part, and they shall pollute the sanctuary of strength, and shall take away the daily sacrifice, and they shall place the abomination that maketh desolate. 32 And such as do wickedly against the covenant shall he corrupt by flatteries: but the people that do know their God shall be strong, and do exploits. 33 And they that understand among the people shall instruct many: yet they shall fall by the sword, and by flame, by captivity, and by spoil, many days. 34 Now when they shall fall, they shall be holpen with a little help: but many shall cleave to them with flatteries. 35 And some of them of understanding shall fall, to try them, and to purge, and to make them white, even to the time of the end: because it is yet for a time appointed.

Yes they would. They are all Christians, citizens of the new nation of Beulah. Isaiah 62:1-5

But your quote of Daniel 11:31-35 will happen some time after the gathering of all Christians into the holy Land. It refers to the time that the leader of the One World Govt, [the Anti-Christ] will come to Beulah and conquer them. As in Zechariah 14:1-2 and Revelation 12:13-17
I suggest that you re read that passage in a modern translation for better understanding yourself.

There are no Christians anywhere in Isaiah. Isaiah is a Hebrew prophet writing to Israel. The Church was not revealed to the prophets of old. Or does Ephesians 3:5 and 9 not appear in your Bible?

No, that's because Christ had yet to appear on earth. The name of Christian for the followers of Jesus and the believers in God, was applied to the early Church and to us today.
Before His advent, the people of God were all those who had faith in God. Called in Hebrew the 'kahal' and in Greek; the 'ekkelasia'. Again; just like today.
All the members of the differently named groups, were and are one and the same: all the people of God, no matter what race they belonged to. All who know what is right....

The secret referred to in Ephesians 3:3-9, is; in order that through the universal Church, the Wisdom of God may be made known.... verse 10
And that is exactly what we Christians; Jew and Gentile have done, to the best of our ability.

Your clinging to a separate destiny for ethnic Israel and the Church, is simply unbiblical and cannot happen. Proved by Ephesians 3:6...the Gentiles are fellowheirs of the same body...

I will repeat what Ephesians 3 has said. The Church was not revealed to the prophets of the Old Testament. Therefore you will not find Christians in Isaiah. Twist it as much as you want, and make excuses for their absence as much as you want, but God has spoken.

And if Israel killed the prophets, killed Jesus, killed the disciples of Jesus then there are TWO conflicting Parties. There is no escaping the revelation of scripture. Then, in Israel, ONE of the TWO conflicting PARTIES, a Gentile king, Caesar, ruled them and occupied their Land. That makes THREE DISTINCT PARTIES. The prophets of the Old Testament prophesied ONLY CONCERNING ISRAEL for the Church was yet in mystery. That makes a SPECIFIC DESTINY FOR ISRAEL ALONE unless the prophets are liars.

There is no escape. Israel was a select nation. They refused the Kingdom. Our Lord Jesus HIMSELF ripped the kingdom from them (Matt.21:43) and gave it to AN-OTHER people. That means, by all means of logic, that there are NOW TWO PARTIES - ONE (ISRAEL) WITHOUT THE KINGDOM, AND ONE (THE CHURCH) WITH THE KINGDOM. Their destinies are different by the simple words of the Bible.

Any mixing of the TWO is un-Biblical.

One would think that you'd need a Christ before there could be Christ-ians.

    The conclusion:

Therefore to him that knoweth to do good, and doeth it not, to him it is sin. (James 4:17)
And they went out and preached that men should repent. (Mark 6:12)

Thanks Athanasius, [Sherlock Homes] the idea of Christians before Christ is plainly impossible, but what are Christians? They are God believers and keepers of the Commandments. Just like the ancient people of God, a continuation of the faith displayed by Abraham. Your premise, Walls, is invalid.

Right; Jesus took the Kingdom from the Jews and gave it to a people who bear the proper fruit. Who does that apply to? Faithful Christians, of course. And yes the Jews do constitute another party, the party that belongs to Satan, as Jesus says in Revelation 2:9 Along with all the other godless and false religion peoples.

There is no Bible prophecy that says there will be a national redemption of all ethnic Judah and the statement in Romans 11:25-26 plainly shows that only when the full number of the Gentiles are admitted, will all of Israel be saved. The Gentiles and the Jews who constitute all of the faithful Christian individuals are the Overcomers, literally: the Israelites of God.
ONE people of God, any teaching of there being two peoples, two promises; is in conflict with New Testament truths. John 17:20-23, Ephesians 4:4-6, +

If you were to ask Abraham, or Moses, or Elijah, et al. today if they are Christians, i.e., follow Christ, then you might validly consider them Christians (might). It would still be inappropriate, however, to apply that label anachronistically - that is, into the past. OT believers were not Christians, because there was no Christ for them to follow. They had faith, like we do; they formed a community, like we do; they held to the same promises that we do, but there's a reason you don't find the word 'Christian' in the OT -- they were still looking forward.

Arguing from ekklesia -> Christian confuses two categories.

'And say they are Jews but are not'. The difference betweens Jews, and 'Jews'. You're talking about the latter, Luther.

As C.S.Lewis said: there are only 2 types of people in the world; those whom God knows are His and all the rest.

At the Great White Throne Judgement, Revelation 20:11-15, the fates of both are pronounced. In the meantime, we all live together and it is our Christian duty to be God's witnesses and His Light to the peoples. To maintain our faith thru all that must come before our Lord Jesus Returns.

The "fate" of God's people will be pronounced at the resurrection/rapture of the just. So for the righteous, the GWTJ is a mere formality.
