"For a small moment have I forsaken you, and with great mercy will I gather you. With a little wrath did I hide My countenance for a moment from you, and with everlasting kindness will I have compassion on you," said your Redeemer, the Lord."..."For the mountains shall depart and the hills totter, but My kindness shall not depart from you, neither shall the covenant of My peace totter," says the Lord, Who has compassion on you.

Intervention can make things better. But it has to go beyond lobbing a few bombs and then leaving.
Anyway the Iranian people if freed of their oppressive government would be pro-democracy, pro-west, and even perhaps pro-Israel. They'd make a wonderful ally against the fundamentalists. We should be working to free them and I hope we are (behind the scenes, even).

I guess in theory that could work. In reality Western intervention in Libya , Iraq, Syria and Afghanistan has resulted in ongoing civil wars and ruined economies. But we can hope.
And Israel has less threats in the area if it's local enemies are all in ruins so that's a good thing.
Western intervention in Libya consisting of dropping some bombs. That's it. If we had really intervened the situation might be better.
Iraq was a stable, functioning country until our intervention ended. The power vacuum left by withdrawing American troops was filled by ISIS.Iraq,
Again, minimal intervention. "Using chemical weapons is a red line" said Obama. Assad used them with impunity and we did nothing.Syria
Afghanistan is a basket case. If it became a third world country it would be a step up. But we didn't "intervene" there, the Taliban was hosting Bin Laden and wouldn't give him up. So they had to go.and Afghanistan
The only existential threat to Israel right now is a nuclear Iran. Thanks, Obama. And Israel has less threats in the area if it's local enemies are all in ruins so that's a good thing.
