    He will not allow your foot to be moved: He who keeps you will not slumber.

    Behold, He who keeps Israel shall neither slumber nor sleep.

    The Lord is your keeper the Lord is your shade at your right hand.

    The sun shall not strike you by day nor the moon by night.

    The Lord shall preserve you from all evil. He shall preserve your soul.

    Psalm 100

    1 Make a joyful shout to the LORD, all you lands!
    2 Serve the LORD with gladness;
    Come before His presence with singing.
    3 Know that the LORD, He is God;
    It is He who has made us, and not we ourselves;
    We are His people and the sheep of His pasture.

    4 Enter into His gates with thanksgiving,
    And into His courts with praise.
    Be thankful to Him, and bless His name.
    5 For the LORD is good;
    His mercy is everlasting,
    And His truth endures to all generations.

    THANK YOU LORD FOR LOVING ME.
    9 For this reason also, God highly exalted Him, and bestowed on Him the name which is above every name, 10 so that at the name of Jesus EVERY KNEE WILL BOW, of those who are in heaven and on earth and under the earth, 11 and that every tongue will confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.

    I love all of Psalm 34! My Bible calls it The Happiness of Those Who Love God. And sure does sing forth the happiness that I feel in my heart!

    All His,
    Terri
    For His glory!

    See that you do not refuse Him who speaks. For if they did not escape Him who spoke on earth, much more shall we not escape if we turn away from Him who speaks from heaven.

    Smile

    Yesterday, I was having a wilderness day, and circumstances were very disquieting. Then I came across this treasure from years ago, it is by Charles H. Spurgeon, and it became a "this one thing I do" turn of events.

    I hope this will be a "green pasture" meaning and experience for you all.

    Psalm 63:1

    O God, You are my God;
    Early will I seek You;
    My soul thirsts for You;
    My flesh longs for You in a dry and thirsty land where there is no water.

    David did not stop singing because he was in the wilderness, but he made his worship suitable to his circumstances and presented a wilderness hymn to his God. There was no desert in his heart though there was desert around him. We too may expect to find ourselves in rough places. Even then may the Eternal Comforter abide with us and cause us to bless the Lord at all times.

    Full assurance does not hinder diligence but is the reason for it. See how eager David is to seek his Lord; he will not wait for noon or the cool evening. He is up at cockcrow (dawn) to meet his God. Communion with God is so sweet that the chill of the morning is forgotten and the luxury of oversleeping is despised.

    The Morning is the time for dew and freshness, and the psalmist consecrates it to prayer for fellowship with God. The word "early" has not only the sense of early in the morning, but that eargerness, immediateness. He who truly longs for God longs for Him now.

    A weary place and a weary heart make the presence of more desirable. The absence of outward comforts can be endured serenely when we walk with God and the most lavish accommodations do not satisfy when He withdraws.

    Therefore let all desires become one: Seeking first the Kingdom of God that all else may be added to us (Matt. 6:33).

    But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you. Matthew 6:33

    Charles H. Spurgeon, 1833-1892.

    This is from "Spurgeon's Daily Treasures in the Psalms," which is comprised of selections from Spurgeon's "The Treasury of David."

    Psalms 66:1-4

    1 Make a joyful shout to God, all the earth!

    2 Sing to the glory of his name! Offer glory and praise!

    3 Tell God, "How awesome are your deeds! Through the greatness of your power, your enemies submit themselves to you.

    4 All the earth will worship you, and will sing to you; they will sing to your name." Selah.

    How awesome are God's works? I am constantly amazed by how Great my God is!

    I haven't seen anyone post this one yet:

    Psalm 32

    1Blessed is he whose transgression is forgiven, whose sin is covered.
    2Blessed is the man unto whom the LORD imputeth not iniquity, and in whose spirit there is no guile.
    3When I kept silence, my bones waxed old through my roaring all the day long.
    4For day and night thy hand was heavy upon me: my moisture is turned into the drought of summer. Selah.
    5I acknowledge my sin unto thee, and mine iniquity have I not hid. I said, I will confess my transgressions unto the LORD; and thou forgavest the iniquity of my sin. Selah.
    6For this shall every one that is godly pray unto thee in a time when thou mayest be found: surely in the floods of great waters they shall not come nigh unto him.
    7Thou art my hiding place; thou shalt preserve me from trouble; thou shalt compass me about with songs of deliverance. Selah.
    8I will instruct thee and teach thee in the way which thou shalt go: I will guide thee with mine eye.
    9Be ye not as the horse, or as the mule, which have no understanding: whose mouth must be held in with bit and bridle, lest they come near unto thee.
    10Many sorrows shall be to the wicked: but he that trusteth in the LORD, mercy shall compass him about. 11Be glad in the LORD, and rejoice, ye righteous: and shout for joy, all ye that are upright in heart.

    When I first read this psalm, it felt great, because it describes our repentance to the Lord, our salvation, and how He takes care of each one of us.

    Psalm 19:7-14
    the sufficiency of His Word for every situation

    7 The law of the LORD is perfect, converting the soul;
    The testimony of the LORD is sure, making wise the simple;
    8 The statutes of the LORD are right, rejoicing the heart;
    The commandment of the LORD is pure, enlightening the eyes;
    9 The fear of the LORD is clean, enduring forever;
    The judgments of the LORD are true and righteous altogether.
    10 More to be desired are they than gold,
    Yea, than much fine gold;
    Sweeter also than honey and the honeycomb.
    11 Moreover by them Your servant is warned,
    And in keeping them there is great reward.

    12 Who can understand his errors?
    Cleanse me from secret faults.
    13 Keep back Your servant also from presumptuous sins;
    Let them not have dominion over me.
    Then I shall be blameless,
    And I shall be innocent of great transgression.

    14 Let the words of my mouth and the meditation of my heart
    Be acceptable in Your sight,
    O LORD, my strength and my Redeemer.

    Psalm 34

    1 I will bless the LORD at all times;
    His praise shall continually be in my mouth.
    2 My soul shall make its boast in the LORD;
    The humble shall hear of it and be glad.
    3 Oh, magnify the LORD with me,
    And let us exalt His name together.

    4 I sought the LORD, and He heard me,
    And delivered me from all my fears.
    5 They looked to Him and were radiant,
    And their faces were not ashamed.
    6 This poor man cried out, and the LORD heard him,
    And saved him out of all his troubles.
    7 The angel[a] of the LORD encamps all around those who fear Him,
    And delivers them.

    8 Oh, taste and see that the LORD is good;
    Blessed is the man who trusts in Him!
    9 Oh, fear the LORD, you His saints!
    There is no want to those who fear Him.
    10 The young lions lack and suffer hunger;
    But those who seek the LORD shall not lack any good thing.

    11 Come, you children, listen to me;
    I will teach you the fear of the LORD.
    12 Who is the man who desires life,
    And loves many days, that he may see good?
    13 Keep your tongue from evil,
    And your lips from speaking deceit.
    14 Depart from evil and do good;
    Seek peace and pursue it.

    15 The eyes of the LORD are on the righteous,
    And His ears are open to their cry.
    16 The face of the LORD is against those who do evil,
    To cut off the remembrance of them from the earth.

    17 The righteous cry out, and the LORD hears,
    And delivers them out of all their troubles.
    18 The LORD is near to those who have a broken heart,
    And saves such as have a contrite spirit.

    19 Many are the afflictions of the righteous,
    But the LORD delivers him out of them all.
    20 He guards all his bones;
    Not one of them is broken.
    21 Evil shall slay the wicked,
    And those who hate the righteous shall be condemned.
    22 The LORD redeems the soul of His servants,
    And none of those who trust in Him shall be condemned.

    And will praise You yet more and more.
    15My mouth shall tell of Your righteousness
    And of Your salvation all day long;

    Joy through God's character

    Faithfulness
    Psalm33:1–6
    Sing for joy in the LORD, O you righteous ones;
    Praise is becoming to the upright
    2 Give thanks to the LORD with the lyre;
    Sing praises to Him with a harp of ten strings.
    3 Sing to Him a new song;
    Play skillfully with a shout of joy.
    4 For the word of the LORD is upright,
    And all His work is done in faithfulness.
    5 He loves righteousness and justice;
    The earth is full of the lovingkindness of the LORD.
    6 By the word of the LORD the heavens were made,
    And by the breath of His mouth all their host.
