Thanks. That is 'n Kudu (antelope). That photo is of a young bull, the following picture is how an old bull looks like. It is one of the most beautiful animals.
This is how the females look (my own photo)
The advantages of living in South Africa, the wildlife is great and the photos are just as good

You won't believe it, but i doI hope you're not thinking I'm stealing these pics from somewhere
, I'm just really out in the wild a lot, I grew up on a game farm, so whenever I can, I'm out either hunting or taking photos

It's only my pleasure.
You must know these animal very well, the Giraffe photo was taken from quite a bit away (I have a huge camera). But with the rino's I took the foto from about 10 yards away on foot, with the vehicle about another 10 yards back. Rino's can only see about 4 yards far, but you must be very quiet and they must not pick up your sent. OTHERWISE big no no. Especially with a baby amongst them.
RUN FOREST RUN
Believe you me, I am usually ready to run, but at that distance there wouldn't be to much of a chance of getting away. Like I said, you must know these animals very well.
I'll post some more pictures when I have some good ones, I've got hundrends of pics of animals.
Enjoy your day en God bless

Yes I heard giraffes are very strong animals. Where I lived there was a zoo, and one of the giraffes there moved so that the zoo director broke her arm..... they are so full of power and so big...... and those baby giraffes are so cute....... I have seen them in the past........ would love to see one live again........ Now I just collect giraffes on cards and little figurines..... but at our house it's more penguin as Charles my husband loves those....... and we have them here with us in town, a few miles away...... We do hope to see those live somewhere this year!
Please share more pics! I love them! And you're quite a good photographer!

Giraffes are actually very gentle animals, they won't try to harm you. But the do pack one hell (sorry) of a kick. I've seen one kick a lion to death
. But still, I'll walk up to them any day, they are not as agressive as some rinos and elephants. They flip trucks over like nothing
. But still even though I hunt and everything, I love animals, big and small.
Thanx for the compliment![]()
Wow....... I never knew giraffes could do that..... they look so peaceful and they don't eat other animals either......

It's the rinos and elephants that flip the vehicles over, not the GiraffesGiraffes wil only get aggresive to protect themselves.
You must have a gr8 weekend, I'll look for some more photos for you
Phil
Thanks in advance!
