And I will make of thee a great nation, and I will bless thee, and make thy name great; and thou shalt be a blessing:
And I will bless them that bless thee, and curse him that curseth thee: and in thee shall all families of the earth be blessed.

Here are three pics that are my favorites while in Iraq...

This is a little girl who was standing along a wall as we were leaving an Iraqi Police Station. I took the picture as we drove by from the turret of our HUMV.

This picture is of one of our terps getting the chance to fire one of our weapons.

This picture is of one of a POB (Public Order Brigade) soldier who is a RPG gunner. He was walking by on an early morning mission and due to the low light the image is slightly blurred as I panned with his movement as I took the shot.

mosey, you know you're my favorite photographer on the planet. You've got the Norman Rockwell touch. They're all wonderful!

slug1... your photo's stir a lot of emotion. The little girl is beautiful. The look you captured on her face... how do I say it? It's why we're there. Her eyes are too old and it breaks my heart. But it gives me hope too. Because you were there and you cared.

mshake, those are great. I like the vantage points you used. Can you load your favorites onto your computer?

Can't wait to see everyone elses. Get busy people!

JDarnell, I have a similar pic, of a Heron, but unfortunately I'm not familiar with birds.. It could be a Cormorrant if it was near water though.

Yes, it was near the water. We were at the bottom of the Baja Peninsula right by the ocean. Water was actually right behind me.

People are asking how to get full size pics, so here's a good way.

Go to imageshack dot com and upload your pics to them. Then they give you a link to it, then come back here and click on the little mountain and sun up there ^ and put the link in there. And you are done.

A good idea, though, is to make your pic around 500 pixels wide or so. That's about the average size for most people's monitors.
