You need a third choice - cute kid grown up to be a man.

Congratulations on taking this huge step in your life. Many of us here on the board have family members who served or are now serving. Right now I have a granddaughter in the Navy, and to me she is still the cute kid inside a grown-up outer shell.

You have less hair and a more serious expression on your face.

It's just for fun really. My girl definitely would vote for option 3. Or maybe, sometimes, option 2. Such a masive change was a bit much for her to take.

I've put on a lot of weight too.

But I know, of course, there are far more important things than physical appearance. (So the poll is just for my girl!)

From someone who was not physically quallifed to serve, I can only hope (and bet you do) savor every moment:) Thanks for your service! (beauty is only skin-deep.. ugly goes right to the bone).
