Consider the horses of Zechariah 6 -

Not only that but read the end of chapter 5.
What land is it speaking of?
Shinar

Shinar is to rebuild!

Babylon is to come again at the appointed time!

Zechariah was written during the Babylonian Exile under the reign of King Darius circa 520 B.C.

Shinar and Babylon very much existed during the day of Zechariah when he wrote of it.

Zechariah 1:1 "In the eighth month, in the second year of Darius, came the word of the LORD unto Zechariah"

Daniel, a contemporary of Zechariah during the Babylonian captivity, also spoke of Shinar:

Daniel 1:1 "In the third year of the reign of Jehoiakim king of Judah came Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon unto Jerusalem, and besieged it. And the Lord gave Jehoiakim king of Judah into his hand, with part of the vessels of the house of God: which he carried into the land of Shinar to the house of his god; and he brought the vessels into the treasure house of his god."

Nothing new under the sun.

Babylon had already fallen - but it must rise again - the house must be built again!

Zec. 5 shows us how Babylon earned a certain curse on its land - so Shinar must one day fall as this curse requires - to where even the timber and the stones of it go down.

Cyrus did not destroy Babylon - so the last king of Babylon is yet to come.

So Babylon must rebuild - so that it can be destroyed in the manner that has been foretold.
consumed
even the timber and the stones of it

Zec. 5 shows that Shinar is coming back strong.

Zec. 6 shows when to expect that prophecy to occur.

In the time of the mountains of brass
(the latter days of the Greek Empire)

>just as Daniel 8 - has the little horn as coming from the eastern section of the Greek Empire for the end days.

Daniel 2 - had the third metal as brass - showing the Greeks.

I'll check back tonight - but look at the seals this way.

Zec. 5 - Shinar will come back strong.
Zec. 6 - How to know that Shinar is back and soon will come the taking of Israel.

first the white horses follow the black ones
= to where?

the north country
/the land of the Euphrates River
/so = to Babylon went the horses
/and Babylon must set the riders

So the end of Zec. 5 shows Shinar's kingdom will come again. Zec. 6 tells the building of the final days empire.

you begin with
a white horse rider

Why?
Because it is the spirit of wisdom and with understanding one gets a crown.

1st seal rider - gets a crown

He is the start the nation of Iraq rider.
go forth conquering - as in posses the land
for the new nation

Did you know that when Israel was to possess the land to start her nation>>>?

her rulers rode on white
were to be wise and understanding
and judge righteously

white's rider - is going out to possess the land
start his nation
wear the nation's crown first

that time will pass
and Iraq saw the red horse rider

Abdul Qassim
slew the monarchy time out of existance

that they should kill one another
a great sword - means great people die

the leader himself was later slain
and so began a bloody time in Iraq

then came famine in Iraq

In Zec. 5 - the bay horses went all over - they are the spirit of the fear of the Lord - showing that Israel is at rest.
not war with other nations

The spirit will be quieted in the north country.
silenced?

The Euphrates River area won't have the fear of the LORD.

hurt not the oil and the wine

this type of phrase

as to - destroy it not

means a blessing is about to come on the nation

famine there - ends
the enemy within the land no longer can stay
