2 Peter 20:19)While they promise them liberty, they themselves are the servants of corruption: for of whom a man is overcome, of the same is he brought in bondage.

Why do people choose to live in false liberty of the world, rather then to live in the liberty of God? It is easy to trust what you see, but how often is what you see derived from falsehood? We walk by faith, not by sight)) People have gotten comfortable living in falsehood. The standards God has for us are not the standards society has, nor come close to those of God. “Woe to them that call evil good, and good evil”. This is what society does today. The commandments are disregarded and broken out of ignorance. But how much does that ignorance cost! Freedom of death, indulgence of the world. Freedom of life, obedience to God. Corrupt fruit in a corrupt world, therefore “be ye separate”.
The broad path has become so common, defilement has become such a norm, that people have lost discernment, if not much, then all together. The narrow path can not be on the broad path, nor the broad on the narrow. Reach for holiness, flee from sin cause there is no in between. A life with holiness can’t also contain perverseness and a life with perverseness can’t be holy. Perverseness is ignorance. People don’t have what they can’t see! Lukewarm and not know it! No conviction of conscience. But we have the word of God which is “sharper than any twoedged sword, piercing even to the dividing asunder of soul and spirit, and of the joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart”. Take it for what it is, reproof, correction, and instruction in righteousness. Take heed to it, “lest at anytime you be overcharged with surfeiting”. Over indulgence is why many are blinded from the true power of the truth wanting to be part of the world and follow God, but worldliness hinders the soul. “Sin for a season” means what it says, temporal! Just as the things of this world. Our life is but just a vapor. Reach for the kingdom and its righteousness, reach for God cause tomorrow might be too late!

What is the liberty that we have with regards to the following?

Gal 2:4 (http://bibledatabase.org/cgi-bin/bib_search/bible.cgi?BIBLE=48&BOOK=48&CHAP=2&SEARCH=jesus king lord&Read=Read&FIRST=OK&HV=4) And that because of false brethren unawares brought in, who came in privily to spy out our liberty which we have in Christ Jesus, that they might bring us into bondage:

Gal 5:1 (http://bibledatabase.org/cgi-bin/bib_search/bible.cgi?BIBLE=48&BOOK=48&CHAP=5&SEARCH=jesus king lord&Read=Read&FIRST=OK&HV=1) Stand fast therefore in the liberty wherewith Christ hath made us free, and be not entangled again with the yoke of bondage.

Gal 5:13 (http://bibledatabase.org/cgi-bin/bib_search/bible.cgi?BIBLE=48&BOOK=48&CHAP=5&SEARCH=jesus king lord&Read=Read&FIRST=OK&HV=13) For, brethren, ye have been called unto liberty; only use not liberty for an occasion to the flesh, but by love serve one another.

Jas 1:25 (http://bibledatabase.org/cgi-bin/bib_search/bible.cgi?BIBLE=48&BOOK=59&CHAP=1&SEARCH=jesus king lord&Read=Read&FIRST=OK&HV=25) But whoso looketh into the perfect law of liberty, and continueth therein, he being not a forgetful hearer, but a doer of the work, this man shall be blessed in his deed.

Jas 2:12 (http://bibledatabase.org/cgi-bin/bib_search/bible.cgi?BIBLE=48&BOOK=59&CHAP=2&SEARCH=jesus king lord&Read=Read&FIRST=OK&HV=12) So speak ye, and so do, as they that shall be judged by the law of liberty.

1 Pet 2:16 (http://bibledatabase.org/cgi-bin/bib_search/bible.cgi?BIBLE=48&BOOK=60&CHAP=2&SEARCH=jesus king lord&Read=Read&FIRST=OK&HV=16) As free, and not using your liberty for a cloke of maliciousness, but as the servants of God.

God bless you!
