Nov 3rd 2008, 01:35 AM
Dearest Brothers and Sister's in Christ I placed a prayer thread in the urgent prayers back when I first heard of Sarah's car accident October 5.

The car she was in with other teenagers was hit by a woman who ran a red light. The other teens sustained minor injuries.

Sarah has been in a coma since the wreck. She has under gone jaw surgery where they placed permanent pins in her jaw and removed a crushed tooth.

Her mom told me last week that the Dr's told the family that she has damage in her brain stem. Deb and her family know that Sarah's healing is going to take time. They are thanking everyone for praying and asking for continued intercession for Sarah. She is being moved to a different area where they will start physical therapy on her.

She has a family member with her around the clock at the hospital and her brother (1 of 5 brother's) Jessie who is the oldest bro in the video is a missionary with ywam (for the past 4 yrs) and came home from Austrailia to be with his family and Sarah. He updates her caringbridge site daily.

Her mom has been a close sister in Christ of mine for over 22 yrs. Please keep her whole family in His care. And that they would rest in our dear Savior and His tender mercies and grace continually sustain them.

Thank you for keeping Sarah before the Lord in prayer. <><
