20 Wine is a mocker,
Strong drink is a brawler,
And whoever is led astray by it is not wise.

The first recorded miracle our Saviour turned water to wine. Yahushua also served the disciples wine at the Last Supper.

It's also recommended for healing...

1Ti 5:23 (http://www.blueletterbible.org/Bible.cfm?b=1Ti&c=5&v=23&t=KJV#23)Drink no longer water, but use a little wine for thy stomach's sake and thine often infirmities.

The key is moderation...

Eph 5:18 (http://www.blueletterbible.org/Bible.cfm?b=Eph&c=5&v=18&t=KJV#18)And be not drunk with wine, wherein is excess; but be filled with the Spirit;

Hello Addams Family,

Welcome to the board, enjoy!!!
Since we read:

What? know ye not that your body is the temple of the Holy Ghost which is in you, which ye have of God, and ye are not your own?

20For ye are bought with a price: therefore glorify God in your body, and in your spirit, which are God's. 1 Corinthians 6:19,20.

And as both fellows quoted:

Wherefore be ye not unwise, but understanding what the will of the Lord is.

And be not drunk with wine, wherein is excess; but be filled with the Spirit;Ephesians 5:17,18.

Take care

Drunkenness is the sinůnot drinking.

Drunkenness is one of the deeds of the flesh, not the fruit of the Spirit.

Galatians 5

19Now the works of the flesh are manifest, which are these; Adultery, fornication, uncleanness, lasciviousness,
20Idolatry, witchcraft, hatred, variance, emulations, wrath, strife, seditions, heresies,
21Envyings, murders, drunkenness, revellings, and such like: of the which I tell you before, as I have also told you in time past, that they which do such things shall not inherit the kingdom of God.
22But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith,

Wake up, you drunkards, and weep! Wail, all you drinkers of wine; wail because of the new wine, for it has been snatched from your lips.
Romans 13:13 (http://www.biblegateway.com/passage/?book_id=52&chapter=13&verse=13&version=31&context=verse)
Let us behave decently, as in the daytime, not in orgies and drunkenness, not in sexual immorality and debauchery, not in dissension and jealousy.
1 Corinthians 6:10 (http://www.biblegateway.com/passage/?book_id=53&chapter=6&verse=10&version=31&context=verse)

and envy; drunkenness, orgies, and the like. I warn you, as I did before, that those who live like this will not inherit the kingdom of God.
1 Peter 4:3 (http://www.biblegateway.com/passage/?book_id=67&chapter=4&verse=3&version=31&context=verse)
For you have spent enough time in the past doing what pagans choose to doŚliving in debauchery, lust, drunkenness, orgies, carousing and detestable idolatry.

I realize this is about the tithe, however:

Deuternonomy 14:

22 Thou shalt truly tithe all the increase of thy seed, that the field bringeth forth year by year.
23 And thou shalt eat before the LORD thy God, in the place which he shall choose to place his name there, the tithe of thy corn, of thy wine, and of thine oil, and the firstlings of thy herds and of thy flocks; that thou mayest learn to fear the LORD thy God always.
24 And if the way be too long for thee, so that thou art not able to carry it; or if the place be too far from thee, which the LORD thy God shall choose to set his name there, when the LORD thy God hath blessed thee:
25 Then shalt thou turn it into money, and bind up the money in thine hand, and shalt go unto the place which the LORD thy God shall choose:
26 And thou shalt bestow that money for whatsoever thy soul lusteth after, for oxen, or for sheep, or for wine, or for strong drink, or for whatsoever thy soul desireth: and thou shalt eat there before the LORD thy God, and thou shalt rejoice, thou, and thine household,
