1 Peter 4:7-11 (New King James Version)

7] But the end of all things is at hand; therefore be serious and watchful in your prayers. 8] And above all things have fervent love for one another, for “love will cover a multitude of sins.” 9] Be hospitable to one another without grumbling. 10] As each one has received a gift, minister it to one another, as good stewards of the manifold grace of God. 11] If anyone speaks, let him speak as the oracles of God. If anyone ministers, let him do it as with the ability which God supplies, that in all things God may be glorified through Jesus Christ, to whom belong the glory and the dominion forever and ever. Amen.

The Drama Of Life

The camera is rolling while the actors skillfully portray the drama and suspense that is difficult to see on a paper script. Finally the director shouts, "Cut, that's a wrap." Our life can seem like a stage as we live out dramatic scenes on a daily basis. We are not actors, but the skills needed for life are no less important. At some point God will shout to us, "Cut, that's a wrap." How was it? Was love seen and felt by those around you, especially the ones who did not expect it? Was grace evident causing others to be encouraged? Remember that you are the hands and feet of Christ. God receives glory when we skillfully perform our service to Him in the challenges and routines of life.
