The Bible is very clear on this. It is to occur during the 6th seal and the tribulation is already over first.

What happens to the church in heaven then? She gets her wedding attire and waits for the time of the seven bowls to begin - and at the time of the 6th bowl - she returns for Armageddon.

Take a look - really give Rev. 19-20 a good looking over as it lays out quite clearly when the church goes to heaven.

Rev. 19 - begins a new picture of things to John.
"after"
means -that after he saw the events of Rev. 18 - time passed as to that story of the future - and then came the story of chapter 19.

It was after - as in not along with those things found in chapter 18.

So open up chapter 19 as a section that must stand on its own and keep reading right on into chapter 20.

There is not going to be a pre-or mid trib rapture.

The church will go home when the time of salvation comes - on both her and the land of Israel.
So just about the time of what Rev. 19 also shows at the start of it - the taking down of the city of mystery, Babylon.
the great city that corrupted the earth

not - will soon corrupt the earth
- but the city that has used up her time of corrupting the earth and slaying the great tribulation martyrs of Jesus Christ

These great tribulation martyrs must all be done getting slain before Rev. 19 can move to the part as to the marriage of the Lamb.

At the end of the millenium when Jesus walks the earth for 1000 years, Our Heavenly Father returns with His Angels and Saints and establishes His Church (Heaven) or Kingdom here on earth in Jerusalem.

The Bible tells us that he waits in heaven till it is time to make His enemies His footstool. So now you explain how that can show He comes back before the time of making His sanctuary desolate ends?

Will Jesus destroy Himself? Do you blame Jesus - or see it as God's wrath is what takes place during the great tribulation against Israel?
If so- then that view requires Jesus to destroy Himself at the 7th trumpet - for there He is to destroy those that are destroying the earth.

See Rev. 11:18.

1 Thess. 5:9 speaks of how the church - the brethren is not appointed to any wrath that comes after salvaion - but did you look at where that salvation moment is to arrive?

check - Rev. 12 - for Satan must get cast out of heaven and go after the brethren that he was accusing in heaven

check Rev. 7 - for it comes when the great tribulation martyrs have all been slain first

check Rev. 19:1
check Hebrews 9:28
and so on

The Bible is clear that Jesus won't appear - won't leave heaven till it is time to bring back all of the sleeping saints with Him - and Daniel 12 shows that will be the 1290th day. After that time will be another time of 45 days - the time of God's shows marvellous stuff to the Assyrian - Iraqi.
Then - Jesus will return - not as a white cloud Rider - but as a Rider on a white horse and His armies of saints will be with Him. No one is going to be changed at the time of Armageddon - no one is resurrected from the dead.

The Bible shows - there shall be a resurrection
as in one each

for the just
and the unjust

If you place the slaying the martyrs of the trib time
as after there is some other time of the resurrection of the just - then that only allows them to rise at the resurrection time of the unjust.

The Bible shows in 1 Cor. 15:-51-54 - that at the last trump - death is swallowed up in victory. There won't be another trumpet time of the just rising. When that last trump sounds - no more just people can go to the grave. The people that die from that trumpet time on - will be kept for the resurrection of the unjust event. They will never have victory.
