What is his purpose in relation to the ac

catlover, if you study Daniel 7 about the 4 beasts you can see that the bible explains that the 4 beasts are 4 consecutive empires.

The fourth beast is the same beast as the beast from the sea of Revelation 13, the final empire to rule earth. But in both Daniel and Revelation the beast is described as having human qualities, of an evil man of great authority.

So the beast IS the antichrist , the antichrist being the final leader of the empire (beast) that rules over earth.

There are two beasts in the end times mentioned in Revelation 13.

The Beast from the Sea
1 (http://bible.cc/revelation/13-1.htm) And the dragon stood on the sand of the seashore. Then I saw a beast coming up out of the sea, having ten horns and seven heads, and on his horns were ten diadems, and on his heads were2 (http://bible.cc/revelation/13-2.htm) And the beast which I saw was like a leopard, and his feet were like blasphemous names. those of a bear, and his mouth like the mouth of a lion. And the dragon gave him his power and his throne and great authority. 3 (http://bible.cc/revelation/13-3.htm) I saw one of his heads as if it had been slain, and his fatal wound was healed. And the whole earth was amazed and followed after the beast; 4 (http://bible.cc/revelation/13-4.htm) they worshiped the dragon because he gave his authority to the beast; and they worshiped the beast, saying, “Who is like the beast, and who is able to wage war with him?” 5 (http://bible.cc/revelation/13-5.htm) There was given to him a mouth speaking arrogant words and blasphemies, and authority to act for forty-two months was given to him. 6 (http://bible.cc/revelation/13-6.htm) And he opened his mouth in blasphemies against God, to blaspheme His name and His tabernacle, that is, those who dwell in heaven.
7 (http://bible.cc/revelation/13-7.htm) It was also given to him to make war with the saints and to overcome them, and authority over every tribe and people and tongue and nation was given to him. 8 (http://bible.cc/revelation/13-8.htm) All who dwell on the earth will worship him, everyone9 (http://bible.cc/revelation/13-9.htm) If anyone has an ear, let him hear. 10 (http://bible.cc/revelation/13-10.htm) If anyone whose name has not been written from the foundation of the world in the book of life of the Lamb who has been slain. is destined for captivity, to captivity he goes; if anyone kills with the sword, with the sword he must be killed. Here is the perseverance and the faith of the saints.

This is the one world government run by a single ruler who will control the economies, civil and military powers of every nation.

The Beast from the Earth
11 (http://bible.cc/revelation/13-11.htm) Then I saw another beast coming up out of the earth; and he had two horns like a lamb and he spoke as a dragon. 12 (http://bible.cc/revelation/13-12.htm) He exercises all the authority of the first beast in his presence. And he makes the earth and those who dwell in it to worship the first beast, whose fatal wound was healed. 13 (http://bible.cc/revelation/13-13.htm) He performs great signs, so that he even makes fire come down out of heaven to the earth in the presence of men. 14 (http://bible.cc/revelation/13-14.htm) And he deceives those who dwell on the earth because of the signs which it was given him to perform in the presence of the beast, telling those who dwell on the earth to make an image to the beast who had the wound of the sword and has come to life. 15 (http://bible.cc/revelation/13-15.htm) And it was given to him to give breath to the image of the beast, so that the image of the beast would even speak and cause as many as do not worship the image of the beast to be killed. 16 (http://bible.cc/revelation/13-16.htm) And he causes all, the small and the great, and the rich and the poor, and the free men and the slaves, to be given a mark on their right hand or on their forehead, 17 (http://bible.cc/revelation/13-17.htm) and he provides that no one will be able to buy or to sell, except the one who has the mark, either the name of the beast or the number of his name. 18 (http://bible.cc/revelation/13-18.htm) Here is wisdom. Let him who has understanding calculate the number of the beast, for the number is that of a man; and his number is six hundred and sixty-six.

The second beast is the false prophet, the false christ who will force the mark of the first beast on everyone. In plain english the fake jesus will deceive the spiritually blinded and biblically illiterate masses into believing him to be the second coming messiah with false miracles and lead them to believe the new world order established by the first beast is God's kingdom on earth.

The Antichrist and the "Beast" are one and the same.

Amen. The term "beast" is used as for being wild, savage, brutal....... We see there are many beasts (kings) which make up the kingdom of Satan which he is one as well.

The first beast is NOT a single man but if you look close it is a conglomerate of beasts or actual kings called by God as beasts. The first beast and the second entail his full kingdom in which Satan is head.

We see on day his kingdom upon earth in which he will indwelled the second at a point in time. There are never two individuals upon the earth which deceive but only one. Note when Christ returns are there two seperate individuals which deceive? Why would then Satan employ two......

The first beast is up out of the sea - see Rev. 13.

Then - only one of the seven heads gets his deadly wound healed - he now becomes the first beast out of the earth.
Then John sees - another beast
coming up out of the earth

sea beast (contains seven heads and ten horns)
the heads - earned their names already
that name for them is - blasphemy
Nebuchadnezzar II was the first king of blasphemy and the next Gentile king was Antiochus of Epiphanes.
one - and only one of the heads is the ac that will come back to reign again

then as his helper will be the second beast out of the earth - the false prophet

telling others to make an image to the beast that was wounded by a sword and lives

The Antichrist and the "Beast" are one and the same.

To the OP. What I have quoted here is absolutely correct.

I have a question for you. How many times can you find the word, "AntiChrist" in revelation? Here, I have the answer for you. None.

How many times do you find the word Antichrist anywhere in the Bible? 1 John 2:18, 22; 4:3, and 2 John 2:7.

The definition of the wod Antichrist in the Bible is found in 1 John 2:22, whereas anyone who does not believe in the Father and the Son is an antichrist.

And so, you have to understand that the term "AntiChrist", according to the Bible, is any unbeliever who denies Lord Jesus. It is not limited to, or even used to describe, the Man of sin. This individual has several names, the one used the most in the Bible is the term, Beast. IN Daniel 7, he is a kingdom, and a little horn that spouted great things. In other places, he is referred to as an Abomination (Daniel 11, Matthew 24:15). Paul calls him the Man of sin, and Revelation calls him "The Beast".

This is why I call him either "the Beast" or "the man called God" or "The man of sin". It only maks biblical sense.

...Beast lays the foundation for the second. He is the prophet, and has the wounded head with him.

The second beast is the AC. He will cause the desires of the first, and the wounded head, to become a law. A law that, if broken, is punishable by death.
