Jude 1:3 (New King James Version)

3] Beloved, while I was very diligent to write to you concerning our common salvation, I found it necessary to write to you exhorting you to contend earnestly for the faith which was once for all delivered to the saints.

A Faith Worth Defending

A Christian is a unique person. They are unique because they have a promise not made by man and therefore not prone to fail. When we believe in something, we make it our priority to promote it, rejoice in what it does for us, and defend it when someone puts it down. Does this represent your faith in Jesus Christ?

Jude encourages us to contend, or stand up for, the faith of our Lord. You see, once Jude did not appreciate what his brother Jesus was about; then it was revealed to him, and Jude never was the same. How about you? Do others see Christ in you? Is the change real? Defending the faith is not fighting, itís displaying who Christ is in you.

For today: Ask God for a fresh revelation of Himself in your life.
