Try my mind and my heart.

9] If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.

Faith - Testing

I've had friends whose lifestyles that are not biblical say to me, "I'm not afraid of God because I know He is good." My reaction has been, have you never been in the hands of a surgeon? Our physical bodies often need to find relief from pain through surgery. It can be much the same, spiritually, with God's children. We are badly flawed and fallen creatures and sometimes, to our detriment, we go off on the wrong path. Oh, how it hurts when we stumble and fall. But , if we belong to Him, the indwelling Holy Spirit will convict us of our sin and turn us back to God who knows how to cut out the bad and leave the good. Sincere repentance will lift us on our feet and send us on our way, cleansed and made whole again.

FOR TODAY: "Christianity has not been tried and found wanting, it has been found difficult and left untried." --- G.K. Chesterton
