When The Leaves Come

The most inspiring earthly testimony of the Resurrection is found in the spring. New life runs up the dead branches bringing growth wherever it travels. Jesus used the illustration of the tender branch to tell His followers the season of summer was coming. The summer is regarded as the growing season. Are you growing in your walk with Him? Leaves are evidence of the tree's life and growth. Good works and lessons of faith learned are the same identification for the believer. If your life was identified by a tree's appearance, would it be vibrant healthy green or a fading gray where not much life is found? Putting Jesus ahead of all else is the key to resolving deadness. Then bright leaves come forth.

FOR TODAY: Look for ways to honor God with your life and abilities.
