With regards to the following scriptures who is our teacher/master?

Mt 6:24 (http://bibledatabase.org/cgi-bin/bib_search/bible.cgi?BIBLE=48&BOOK=40&CHAP=6&SEARCH=jesus king lord&Read=Read&FIRST=OK&HV=24) No man can serve two masters: for either he will hate the one, and love the other; or else he will hold to the one, and despise the other. Ye cannot serve God and mammon.

Lk 16:13 (http://bibledatabase.org/cgi-bin/bib_search/bible.cgi?BIBLE=48&BOOK=42&CHAP=16&SEARCH=jesus king lord&Read=Read&FIRST=OK&HV=13) No servant can serve two masters: for either he will hate the one, and love the other; or else he will hold to the one, and despise the other. Ye cannot serve God and mammon.

Gal 3:23 (http://bibledatabase.org/cgi-bin/bib_search/bible.cgi?BIBLE=48&BOOK=48&CHAP=3&SEARCH=jesus king lord&Read=Read&FIRST=OK&HV=23) But before faith came, we were kept under the law, shut up unto the faith which should afterwards be revealed.
Gal 3:24 (http://bibledatabase.org/cgi-bin/bib_search/bible.cgi?BIBLE=48&BOOK=48&CHAP=3&SEARCH=jesus king lord&Read=Read&FIRST=OK&HV=24) Wherefore the law was our schoolmaster to bring us unto Christ, that we might be justified by faith.
Gal 3:25 (http://bibledatabase.org/cgi-bin/bib_search/bible.cgi?BIBLE=48&BOOK=48&CHAP=3&SEARCH=jesus king lord&Read=Read&FIRST=OK&HV=25) But after that faith is come, we are no longer under a schoolmaster.
Gal 3:26 (http://bibledatabase.org/cgi-bin/bib_search/bible.cgi?BIBLE=48&BOOK=48&CHAP=3&SEARCH=jesus king lord&Read=Read&FIRST=OK&HV=26) For ye are all the children of God by faith in Christ Jesus.
Gal 3:27 (http://bibledatabase.org/cgi-bin/bib_search/bible.cgi?BIBLE=48&BOOK=48&CHAP=3&SEARCH=jesus king lord&Read=Read&FIRST=OK&HV=27) For as many of you as have been baptized into Christ have put on Christ.

Jn 14:26 (http://bibledatabase.org/cgi-bin/bib_search/bible.cgi?BIBLE=48&BOOK=43&CHAP=14&SEARCH=jesus king lord&Read=Read&FIRST=OK&HV=26) But the Comforter, which is the Holy Ghost, whom the Father will send in my name, he shall teach you all things, and bring all things to your remembrance, whatsoever I have said unto you.

1 Tim 1:7 (http://bibledatabase.org/cgi-bin/bib_search/bible.cgi?BIBLE=48&BOOK=54&CHAP=1&SEARCH=jesus king lord&Read=Read&FIRST=OK&HV=7) Desiring to be teachers of the law; understanding neither what they say, nor whereof they affirm.

1 Cor 2:13 (http://bibledatabase.org/cgi-bin/bib_search/bible.cgi?BIBLE=48&BOOK=46&CHAP=2&SEARCH=jesus king lord&Read=Read&FIRST=OK&HV=13) Which things also we speak, not in the words which man's wisdom teacheth, but which the Holy Ghost teacheth; comparing spiritual things with spiritual.

Who is our Master?

Who do we follow?

No man can serve two masters: for either he will hate the one, and love the other; or else he will hold to the one, and despise the other.

God bless you!

God is our Master. Either we will serve God or we will serve this world and the things of it. Those are the two masters. We cannot serve both of them. We must serve one or the other. God's Spirit will not strive with mans spirit. God's Spirit is only of God. Man's spirit is of this world. We cannot serve the both. We as humans must serve one or they other.

God Bless,

Yes a man can serve two masters, but he will love one and hate another

If serving two masters will cause us to love one and hate the other, would that be the reason why we are told that the law is no longer our master/teacher, and that we must follow the Spirit?

Gal 5:18 (http://bibledatabase.org/cgi-bin/bib_search/bible.cgi?BIBLE=48&BOOK=48&CHAP=5&SEARCH=jesus king lord&Read=Read&FIRST=OK&HV=18) But if ye be led of the Spirit, ye are not under the law.

As you have said, a man can serve two masters but he will love one and hate the other.

How does that apply to the law and the Spirit and what we follow concerning them, can we follow both without leaning more to one than the other?

Mt 6:24 (http://bibledatabase.org/cgi-bin/bib_search/bible.cgi?BIBLE=48&BOOK=40&CHAP=6&SEARCH=jesus king lord&Read=Read&FIRST=OK&HV=24) No man can serve two masters: for either he will hate the one, and love the other; or else he will hold to the one, and despise the other.
