I love to read in that Bible, and especially since someone gave me a big letter version of it, it's mostly the one I use........ so I was curious why it had that name....... does anyone know?

Love you,
Mieke

He was the king who commissioned the translation that we know now as the King James Bible. He was an interesting man... here's more about him on wikipedia.

For some reason the link is going through to James the Second... Try this. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/James_the_first#Legacy
