I was doing some searching for skins for VB. I ran across this site: http://www.transversestyles.com/work.html

They look professional. Only 15 bucks.

This site for 35 bucks: http://www.completevb.com/vbulletin-skins/

Here is another one for 15 bucks: http://www.vbskinzone.com/index.php?pageid=products

Wow, starting at 400 bucks and up? http://mysticdigital.com/vbulletin/vb-skins.php they must gold plate them or something LOL. Oh, I see. I think these are total flash design boards. No wonder. That's totally from scratch.

Here are a couple of free ones: http://exaltic.com/free
Their pay for ones were not to bad: http://exaltic.com/category/vbulletin-skins-styles

More free skins: http://www.vbskinstudio.com/free-vbulletin-skin-downloads/

I hear ya and would really like to get some cool ones. Just one problem -- every time vBulletin bring out an update -- which is every few weeks now -- half the templates need to be changed. It's a nightmare and quite frankly, right now I would not recommend the vBulletin software to anyone. For years I was a supporter, but no more. They have lost the plot completely. Updates must be FTP'd manually. Heck, even the free board like SMF have auto-update built in.

Well I have use IPB for a while now. Usually their skins convert until they come with a whole new version. And I hear they can do a total forum conversion from VB. From what I hear they now have a program that works on the server itself and converts everything to work in their forum program, you lose nothing. And it's cheaper to use. VB is more than double the price of IPB. What I was thinking since this broad is big. Make a copy and put it on another server. Do the conversion there and make sure it works. Then transfer it here. It would be next to no downtime that way. And the skins for IPB are more abundant and there are more free skins as well. And you can update through the admin control panel. It even tells you when an update is available.

I like the appearance of the forum, it's standard of course but it's enough.
