The federal government posted its largest monthly deficit in history in February at $223 billion, according to preliminary numbers the Congressional Budget Office released Monday morning.

As a point of reference, the budget deficit for the entire year of 2007 was $161 billion.

The Sec of HHS admitted in a cong hearing that they double counted $500 billion in the healthcare and medicare program. Wait till that hits the budget right after bho is out of office.
