Howdy, catlover
I am convinced it is both: the physical because of His compassion on our flesh, and the spiritual because of His desires being the same as the One who sent Him: that all come to the knowledge of the truth.

Father bless, and have mercy on all of us.

I agree with MoreMercy, I believe it is both.

Luke 4:18 “The Spirit of the Lord is upon me, because he has anointed me to proclaim good news to the poor. He has sent me to proclaim liberty to the captives and recovering of sight to the blind, to set at liberty those who are oppressed,

1. He is proclaiming good news.
2. He is proclaiming liberty to captives.
3. Recovering of sight to the blind.
4. Liberating those who are oppressed.

In 1 and 2 He is speaking of spiritual things.
4 could be spiritual and physical (demon possession, sickness, mental illness, or ones deliverance from oppression when his/her oppressor begins to follow Christs' teachings).
I don't see a reason why 3 couldn't be both.

But if I was forced to pick one, I would pick spiritual.
