Gen.24:27 –“being on the way the Lord led me”.

Exodus 14:13-14 – “Do not be afraid, stand still and see the Salvation of the Lord . . . the Lord will fight for you, and you shall hold your peace.”

A refuge in times of trouble.

1 John 5:7 For there are three that bear witness in heaven: the Father, the Word, and the Holy Spirit; and these three are one.

2 Chronicles 19:7 Now therefore, let the fear of the Lord be upon you; take care and do it, for there is no iniquity with the Lord our God, no partiality, nor taking of bribes.”

If I included all the underlines and highlights, I would have to copy/paste the whole thing. But here are the first 5 (taking the lead from Slug) from the very first Bible my wife gave to me. All will be in KJV:

1) Genesis 1:1 In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth.

2) Exodus 11:7 But against any of the children of Israel shall not a dog move his tongue, against man or beast: that ye may know how that the LORD doth put a difference between the Egyptians and Israel.

3) Psalm 22:1 My God, my God, why hast thou forsaken me? why art thou so far from helping me, and from the words of my roaring?

4) John 1:1 In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.

5) 2Timothy 2:22 Flee also youthful lusts: but follow righteousness, faith, charity, peace, with them that call on the Lord out of a pure heart.

First 5 I opened to.

I don;t have anything underlined in my bible but here is what the Lord gave me this AM

Ho 14:1 . O Israel, return unto the LORD thy God; for thou hast fallen by thine iniquity. 14:2 Take with you words, and turn to the LORD: say unto him, Take away all iniquity, and receive us graciously: so will we render the calves of our lips.

Ho 14:4 . I will heal their backsliding, I will love them freely: for mine anger is turned away from him. 14:5 I will be as the dew unto Israel: he shall grow as the lily, and cast forth his roots as Lebanon.14:6 His branches shall spread, and his beauty shall be as the olive tree, and his smell as Lebanon.

Ho 14:8 . Ephraim shall say, What have I to do any more with idols? I have heard him, and observed him: I am like a green fir tree. From me is thy fruit found. 14:9 Who is wise, and he shall understand these things? prudent, and he shall know them? for the ways of the LORD are right, and the just shall walk in them: but the transgressors shall fall therein.

Acts 15:11: "No! We believe it is through the grace of our Lord Jesus that we are saved, just as they are."

Romans 15:1: "We who are strong ought to bear with the failings of the weak and not to please ourselves."

Romans 6:1-3: "What shall we say, then? Shall we go on sinning so that grace may increase? By no means! We are those who have died to sin; how can we live in it any longer? Or don’t you know that all of us who were baptized into Christ Jesus were baptized into his death?"

I also have the "whom" in Romans 5:5 underlined, because in that verse it shows the Holy Spirit to be personal.

1 Co. 1:26-29: "Brothers and sisters, think of what you were when you were called. Not many of you were wise by human standards; not many were influential; not many were of noble birth. But God chose the foolish things of the world to shame the wise; God chose the weak things of the world to shame the strong. God chose the lowly things of this world and the despised things—and the things that are not—to nullify the things that are, so that no one may boast before him."
