Does the Bible have much to say on family members such as your father, grandparents etc aging, and how to adapt to those changes in life ?

A lot of times at night (I'm 27 years old) I lie down and think about my father and how he's getting older ( same with other family ) and how I know there will be a dreaded day that will come when I will have to stand over his casket. I know this is an inevitable piece about life, but I was hoping the Bible had some comfort to offer me during nights when its all I can think about.

Well, I'm surely old enough to be your father. Just comfort yourself in the thought one day my generation will be free of all this trouble, and we can pass the baton onto you. It's your world now! ;)

In the famed lyrics of Larry Norman: "This world is not my home. I'm just passing through."

Is your father a Christian believer in Jesus? That will make a big difference as to the scriptures of comfort you seek.

Surely is.

My family has been church going folks since I was young, even up to my great grand parents and beyond as far as I know

Going to church doesn't make people Christians.

Luke 16:22 So it was that the beggar died, and was carried by the angels to Abraham’s bosom. ... 25 ... but now he is comforted

Luke 23:43 And Jesus said to him, “Assuredly, I say to you, today you will be with Me in Paradise.”

Revelation 7:9 After these things I looked, and behold, a great multitude which no one could number, of all nations, tribes, peoples, and tongues, standing before the throne and before the Lamb, clothed with white robes, with palm branches in their hands, 10 and crying out with a loud voice, saying, “Salvation belongs to our God who sits on the throne, and to the Lamb!” ...14 ...So he said to me, “These are the ones who come out of the great tribulation, and washed their robes and made them white in the blood of the Lamb. 15 Therefore they are before the throne of God, and serve Him day and night in His temple. And He who sits on the throne will dwell among them. 16 They shall neither hunger anymore nor thirst anymore; the sun shall not strike them, nor any heat; 17 for the Lamb who is in the midst of the throne will shepherd them and lead them to living fountains of waters. And God will wipe away every tear from their eyes.”

John 14:“Let not your heart be troubled; you believe in God, believe also in Me. 2 In My Father’s house are many mansions; if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you. 3 And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again and receive you to Myself; that where I am, there you may be also.
