I am by far no computer expert. I know enough to get myself into trouble.

Here's the problem:

I download worship sheet music from a site that sells the music ( Lifeway (http://www.lifewayworship.com/) ). I do this to teach music to students at a local private school. However for some reason I cannot hear the music demo. The icon changes to the pointy finger but will not click the link. I contacted the site IT and they said I need to allow Adobe Flash to run or update it. I updated it but it still does not work. It used to work just fine and I would like to hear the music before I purchase it.

Are there certain settings on my computer that would cause this to happen? If so how do I get to them and make the proper changes?

I'm assuming it's a PDF file.

If so check some other PDFs you have. If they open normally my first guess would be the download was corrupted somehow. If you can't open any PDF files at all uninstall Adobe Flash and then install the latest version.

You can also download the Microsoft Edge browser and try it. It has a PDF reader right in the browser itself.

Hi Brian,

I can down load the sheet music just fine and they are PDFs and I can read them. It's while on their web site that I would like to listen to the music demo before I buy the sheet music.

I tried to find adobe flash player on my computer. I just downloaded it and installed but I cant find it listed anywhere.

D’oh! I missed that in your 1st post. Sorry bro.

What browser are you using to access the website?

I use Firefox but I seem to remember trying it with IE same result though I haven't tried anything other than Firefox in awhile.

OK. Here is the Flash help page from Firefox. It should walk you through how to find and fix it.

Here's some more. The following link has a little picture ( it's number 5 down the page ) of a tree and moving clouds. If you see it flash is working. If you can't then your flash player is bugged.

https://helpx.adobe.com/flash-player.html

In either case since you're having problems I would just uninstall and reinstall.

Here's a link to download the Flash uninstaller along with directions.

Here's a link to install the newest version- don't install the extra's from McAfee.

Hey Brian. I finally got around to fixing this problem. It took me a few times (i am so technologically challenged).

But it works fine now. Thanks for your all your help.
