    Testing the edit procedure.

    Here is the edit...

Cool! This works for Firefox too.

        Re: Edit test

This is what shows up when I am on my desktop and switch to "mobile style" and click the edit pen under the post I want to edit:

        BibleForums Christian Message Board.jpg

Is it vastly different in Chrome??

        Edit:

As you can see, a 2nd area is under the delete area with the "Delete Post" bar above the 2nd area. In the 2nd area is the Message field and the edit is done and then the black bar, "Save Changes" is clicked to save the edit.

Then after the page refreshes, I go to the bottom and click the "Full Site" again.

        End Edit

            Re: Edit test

For some reason Firefox isn't allowing the edits for me now when I switch to mobile view.

Edit - This method still works though.

              Testing Chrome.

Edit. Right clicking on the edit tab works in Chrome as well, however, just going to mobile and trying to edit is deleting the posts as soon as you click on the text box.
              Strange.

                .

Edit. Edge still allows editing when you click go to Mobile view.

                  Testing also....

                  with edit....

-- another, yeah the method Aviyah mentions works with Firefox. The method I was using going mobile, the post would vanish. Good I had it copied to repost (which enables time to edit though).

                    Re: Edit test

Thanks to all who shared various ways to work-around our broken edit option.

My first attempts at some of these remedies failed because I was opening the multi-quote button in another tab to edit rather than opening the edit button in another tab to edit.

Anyway, opening edit button in another tab works fine for me now on all three diff browsers, thanks again for the remedy !
