  • Gems from Romans—Romans 8:31-32—If God is for Us

"What then shall we say to these things? If God is for us, who is against us? He who did not spare His own Son, but delivered Him over for us all, how will He not also with Him freely give us all things?"—Romans 8:31-32.

Think about this. If God didn't spare His own Son for us while we were sinners and separated from Him, what will he now do—now that we have been adopted into His very own family? Whenever I start thinking God doesn't care I stop and remember this passage.
Love is patient, love is kind; it does not envy, it does not boast; it is not arrogant or rude. It does not insist on its own way; it is not irritable or resentful; it does not rejoice at wrongdoing, but rejoices with the truth. Love bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things. Love never ends.
