  • The sword of the LORD, and of Gideon.

In Judges 7:20-22, Gideon's 300 men shouted "The sword of the LORD, and of Gideon", then "the Lord set every man's sword against his fellow". I used to think that the Midianite army panicked and then they started killing each other. But there is another possibility: God took control of each man's sword and killed his neighbour with it! THAT would be quite a miracle. What do you think happened?

Judges 6:1 King James Version (KJV)

6 And the children of Israel did evil in the sight of the Lord: and the Lord delivered them into the hand of Midian seven years.

Could it be that, given Elohim's/God's People have the Moral Supremacy/Authority, that there is some among the Midianites whose Moral Conscience Elohim/God invoked to turn them against their neighbour?
