Discussion Jesus' prophecies according to OT and Torah

I've been dealing with a few people lately who are modern day pharisees and are trying to dispute Jesus as Messiah. I don't know why it shakes my faith but it does sometimes.

I just need some re-affirmation of Christ being of God and the Messiah.

One main thing is that He's not in the main lineage of Joseph as I've seen from Matthew, since Joseph is not His flesh/blood father. Does this matter according to God?

Through Joseph, Jesus is in the legal lineage but not the natural lineage. Through Mary, Jesus is in the natural lineage.
