  • Make The Call

    Psalm 121 (New King James Version)

    1] I will lift up my eyes to the hillsó
    From whence comes my help?
    2] My help comes from the LORD,
    Who made heaven and earth.
    3] He will not allow your foot to be moved;
    He who keeps you will not slumber.
    4] Behold, He who keeps Israel
    Shall neither slumber nor sleep.
    5]The LORD is your keeper;
    The LORD is your shade at your right hand.
    6] The sun shall not strike you by day,
    Nor the moon by night.
    7] The LORD shall preserve you from all evil;
    He shall preserve your soul.
    8] The LORD shall preserve your going out and your coming in
    From this time forth, and even forevermore.

    Make The Call
    In April of this year a resident of Memphis, TN, called 911 to report a robbery. She later called to complain about the inattention of the 911 operator. An investigation of the recording of the call revealed that in the middle of the call the 911 operator fell asleep! Today's Scripture reveals that God is ever awake and available to minister to our needs. With Him you never get a busy signal or short answer. You have His full care and attention. Let this truth motivate you to further develop your prayer life. Be encouraged that He is on the job at all times.

    Perhaps today would be a good time to refocus on your prayer life; set a little more time than usual to talk to and worship our God. You will be able to get through and He is waiting for your call.
