  • A good resource site

That thoroughly goes through all the prophecies of the end-times. I know I could google search, but it would be great if I could get the favorite sites from people who actively use/used them. Thanks.

I wish I could share something with a fellow "brother from Michigan".... (even though I'm in Tennessee now...)
But (in my personal opinion) pretty much every "Bible prophecy" site I've looked at, puts fulfilled prophecies in the 21st century.

I think far too many passages of scripture are taken out of context & forced into an unintended interpretation in order to make them align with "current events".

BUT..... If I happen to discover a list / website that I feel good about sharing, I'll definitely let you know.

Hebrews 11:1 Now Faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.

Yes, brother who was born and raised in Michigan(), a resource site that keeps the knowledge wide open and doesn't try to pinpoint a date would be great.

I guess my real question would be how would I get into the prophecies and such of the Bible? Mainly regarding the end times? Is there a decent method that makes everything work out well in terms of understanding, or is it best to just jump in?

Actually, a couple books I DO recommend (for starters) are:
"How to read the Bible for all its worth" by Gordon D. Fee
"The Apocalypse Code" by Hank Hanegraaff

My personal opinion when it comes to interpreting scripture is, "Stay connected to scripture". Let SCRIPTURE interpret scripture, instead of imagination & speculation.

The New Testament is FILLED with references from the Old Testament. The OT is where it started; it's the foundation for the NT.

These two books will help you learn to use Biblical principles when reading & studying the Word.
Hebrews 11:1 Now Faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.

You cant go past John Stevenson if you want an explanation of the Amillenial viewpoint.

And have a look at my page if your interest is in chronology, prophetic diagrams and timelines.

And as far as end-time forums are concerned this one has the best spread of prophetic viewpoints IMO.

          Cheers

I looked at your site -- is there anyway to make the print larger. Had a hard time reading.

Just click on the small images (thumbnail) an a full size image will come up. If the full size text is still too small it can be printed to standard size paper. Computer screens and timelines don't mix well because of width issues.

                    = 4 given
                    ------------------

                    It is best to;
Build your belief around the bible
Do Not build the bible around your belief !!!!

                        Pre-mil sites

If you are pre-mil, Tim Warner is a favorite of many. He is pre-mil / post-trib and I like his stuff a lot but prefer the amil view.

If you are pre-mil / pre-trib the resource to go to is Tom Ice and his Pre-Trib Research Center. (Personally I give this one the but it is the view of many)

Thanks for the website. I am personally enjoying the degbate as Tim Warner, who happens to state my personal beliefs better than anyone else I know, attempts to establish progressive dispensationalism using the classical Premil model. Great stuff!
