Yes. Alot of times verse 11 comes after verse 10.

Verse 11 is after 10, true.

But what about the things written there?

Are the books to be opened while the little horn beast is still around?

What if the church is missing some things that help us understand this chapter better?

        For instance:
Why is the little horn also mentioned as seen in v 8? Does it say there that he was beheld till he was slain?

        no

"...a mouth speaking great things....beheld till...the books were opened."

        then we find:
the little horn was also beheld till he was slain and given to the burning flame

as - this time of seeing the little horn for this chapter did not last as long as what was told just a bit ago in vs 8-10.

        vs 8-10
        the little horn
        speaks
and this time is beheld till the books get opened

        v 11
the little horn mouth is heard
but this scene ends in a different way
--- - - -- the beast is slain -and his body destroyed and given to the burning flame

--------This time of watching the little horn ends much ahead of the time spoken of just a bit ago that lasted till the books were opened

What I'm showing is that Daniel watched the little horn twice in Daniel 7.

saw him - and that watching time lasted till the books were opened

saw him - and that watching time only went as far as the beast given to the burning flame

Okay, then one of the stories involving the little horn belongs in vision 1 and the other happens in vision 2 of that night.

            Understand this?

When Daniel told us he saw four great beasts - the fourth beast had 13 horns (the first horns) and the little horn with speaking great words.

Then began vision 2 of the night - it too has a fourth beast -and now only ten horns are left - up comes the little horn that plucked up three of the first horns~
