  • The child in Revelation 12

Before we can understand who the child is, we must analyze the woman and try to understand who she represents. It has already been announced that the woman represents Israel. But, here is an event that is happening, which is very difficult to understand, why is the woman giving birth now? Also, in what era does this birth take place? At the revelation of the seventh trumpet, Israel, Antichrist and false prophet are discussed, from which the seven plagues also follow. There are certain sections that are inserted for clarification so that we can understand what follows and who is involved. As a result of the breach of the covenant, Israel is caught off guard and realizes the fraud is taking place. Here we are talking about sincere worshipers, even if they are under the law. We must also keep in mind that the two prophets are already there and preach the gospel of Jesus. This is where the woman gets her way as I mentioned in Isaiah. 66.7 Before she found her ways, she bore; before grief came over her, she was delivered from a boy. Already, this boy was sealed by God in advance. I also talked to many preachers about the interpretation of the child in Revelation 12. The interpretation remains the same - the child is the rebirth of the 144,000 Israelite's sealed by God in chapter 7. This child is not a reference to Christ's birth because Christ was not taken up into heaven as a child. Nor was Christ redeemed from the earth. To return to the time when the woman gives birth is found in the time of the seventh trumpet. It deals with the persecution of the Antichrist against Israel. The woman is driven into the desert, but not the child. In the wilderness, she is maintained by God for 42 months. Currently, the seventh trumpet has not sounded. Not even the temple has been erected. We must try to be tolerant of the prophecies that have not yet been fulfilled.

Actually, the simplest (as usual) argument is the best. Only TWO parties in the whole Bible are predicted to RULE THE NATIONS with a ROD OF IRON. Psalm 2:9 and Revelation 19:15 say that Christ will rule the nations with a rod of iron, and Revelation 2:27 says that those Christians who OVERCOME the fallen situation in the Churches will rule with Christ and with a rod of iron.

So, the choice boils down to examining the evidence and eliminating one of them.

    The facts are thus:-
    1. The woman is a "SIGN", not a real woman
    2. The woman is in heaven and on earth at the same time
    3. The woman is a MOTHER
    4. The woman has three seeds; (i) The Man-Child, (ii) those who have the Testimony of Jesus Christ, and (iii) those who keep the commandments of God
    5. The woman goes to a wilderness for 1260 days
    6. The "sun" must be allegorical, and so must be defined by scripture
    7. The "moon" must be allegorical and so must be defined by scripture
    8. The "stars" must be allegorical and so must be defined by scripture
    9. The "stars" are 12 - the number of God's people in both Testaments
    10. The "stars" are a crown. A crown is for ruling
    11. The woman must be related to Joseph's dream in Genesis 37, but there are also huge differences
    12. The Man-Child is the LAST of her seeds for she is immediately driven into the wilderness after its birth
If the Man-child is Christ, then the woman must be Mary. But Mary was never in heaven, never in heaven and on earth at the same time. Mary never brought forth seed that has the "testimony of Jesus Christ". Mary never went to a wilderness. She went to Egypt. Mary cannot be clothed with the sun, stand on the moon and she has no crown. Jesus was Mary's FIRSTBORN not her last seed.

If the claim is made that Israel brought forth Jesus, it fails in the following points. Israel is not a "SIGN" but a Nation. Israel were never in heaven. Israel are not heavenly. Israel was never in heaven and on earth at the same time. Israel went to a wilderness BEFORE the birth of Jesus - NOT AFTER. Israel went to a wilderness for 40 years - not 1260 days. Israel did not flee to the wilderness but was led there. Israel was lead to the wilderness to "learn war" and be tested - not because the Dragon was after her. Although Joseph's dream has similarities, the differences are much more. Israel is Twelve, Joseph's dream only had eleven stars. The seed of Israel is from FOUR WOMEN - not one. Joseph's dream gives him as king, but Christ came from Judah. Joseph's dream has Jacob as the sun, but the Woman is "clothed" with the sun. The Woman cannot be Israel because Israel did not bring forth those "who have the testimony of Jesus Christ".

► In the whole Bible, the term "the commandments of God" always refers to the Law of Moses. Thus, "those who keep the commandments of God" are Jews
► The term "have the testimony of Jesus Christ" can only mean Christians. No other entity testifies of Christ
► Thus the Woman is MOTHER of both Christian and Jew. This is found in ONLY TWO PLACES in the Bible.
    • In Galatians 4 the Church is being CONTRASTED with Israel. But verse 26 concludes, "But Jerusalem which is above is free, which is the MOTHER of us all." That is, heavenly Jerusalem is MOTHER to both Israel and the Church.
    • In Revelation 21 New Jerusalem is made of Walls of Christians and Gates of Israel, and New Jerusalem is a heavenly woman but on earth
► If this is so it will fit with the Woman being a "SIGN", for she is Bride, Wife, Tabernacle of God, City and Ruling City
► In Parable, a garment shows one's works (e.g. Rev.19:7-8). In Malachi 4:2 Jesus is the "Sun" of righteousness. New Jerusalem has "the glory of Christ" (Rev.21:11, 23)
► In Parable the perfected Christians will shine like the sun (Matt.13:43)
► The "sun" is to rule the day, the lesser light, the moon rules the night. The moon must be Israel in the time before Christ came
► The moon is under her feet. Israel forfeit the kingdom (Matt.21:43) and is ruled by the Twelve Apostles - all Christians
    ► 12 is the number of God's people - 12 Tribes and 12 Apostles

The Woman is New Jerusalem and she brings forth the Church and Israel. If so, the Man-Child is the Overcomers of the Church

The text confirms this. It is the catching away to the throne in heaven that causes the war in heaven between Michael and the Dragon. This did not happen at Christ's rapture in Acts 1. And finally, Revelation 12:10-11 tells who THEY (Plural) are:

10 "And I heard a loud voice saying in heaven, Now is come salvation, and strength, and the kingdom of our God, and the power of his Christ: for the accuser of our brethren is cast down, which accused them before our God day and night.
11 And they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb, and by the word of their testimony; and they loved not their lives unto the death."

ALL the evidence points to the Man-Child being the OVERCOMERS OF THE FALLEN AND APOSTATE CHURCHES.

You're right, Christ rules, but who rules with Him? Rev 12:5 And she brought forth a man child, who was to rule all nations with a rod of iron: and her child was caught up unto God, and to his throne. The church and the 144.000 Jews.

So, the choice boils down to examining the evidence and eliminating one of them.

The facts are thus:-[LIST=1][*]The woman is a "SIGN", not a real woman
She represents Israel. When we speak of a woman, we are referring to the religious, not the wicked. The church is also named a woman because of the religion.

[*]The woman is in heaven and on earth at the same time
      Israel still belongs to God.

      [*]The woman is a MOTHER
      Rebecca.

[*]The woman has three seeds; (i) The Man-Child,
      144,000

(ii) those who have the Testimony of Jesus Christ, and
      Christians of the heathens

(iii) those who keep the commandments of God
      The Jewish Christians.

[*]The woman goes to a wilderness for 1260 days
Dan 11:41 He shall enter also into the glorious land, and many countries shall be overthrown: but these shall escape out of his hand, even Edom, and Moab, and the chief of the children of Ammon.

[*]The "sun" must be allegorical, and so must be defined by scripture
      Jacob.

[*]The "moon" must be allegorical and so must be defined by scripture
      Rebecca

[*]The "stars" must be allegorical and so must be defined by scripture
      12 tribes of Israel

[*]The "stars" are 12 - the number of God's people in both Testaments[*]The "stars" are a crown. A crown is for ruling[*]The woman must be related to Joseph's dream in Genesis 37, but there are also huge differences
      Correct.

[*]The Man-Child is the LAST of her seeds for she is immediately driven into the wilderness after its birth
