  • End Times and its relation to politics

Hi all. We had an interesting article in our paper this past weekend by the Religion and Ethics columnist, discussing End Times issues, in particular, Pre versus Post-Millenialism. It's a bit long but I though I'd link it for general interest purposes.

I don't have any specific comments myself (at least not yet).

    Cheers.
Do not say, “Why were the old days better than these?” For it is not wise to ask such questions.

Huh. The author of that article is actually a lot better informed about "end times" beliefs than most journalists are, although I would take issue with the Left Behind series being the reason for the pre-dominance of Pre-Millennialism. It's actually the reverse - the success of Left Behind was due to the predominance of Pre-Millennialism.
