The apostle Paul did such a wonderful job of describing his struggles with the flesh in the book of Romans. Carefully read Romans chapters 3 - 8. It will help you. Remember we are positionally dead in Christ, and the law no longer holds sway over those who are dead. Don't give up, and don't try to win this battle in your own strength. Regardless of our struggles we are positionally seated with Christ. God promises us in the scriptures, "Being confident of this very thing, that he which hath begun a good work in you will perform it until the day of Jesus Christ," Philippians 1:6. What He has promised He will do. Blessings.

Anyone who has worked with livestock knows that males have a biological drive that can get quite intense. This is true for humans as well. Sometimes men have difficulty with lust that has a biological component as well as other components.

It can be helpful to experiment with something like licorice root supplements which can be helpful to reduce the biological component and may make dealing with the issue more manageable.

        Re: Overcoming Lust & Temptation.

Hello Beloved. That is more than just a greeting "Beloved" It's an obvious instruction as well as a confirmation. Be-loved.
All through my Journey I have struggled with what being loved truly meant. As a child I was introduced to a value system that perverted my sense of what love was and how love was demonstrated. Physical contact was done in secret and it was naughty. I being only a child did not comprehend the seeds being planted into my fertile fleshly mind. I had no idea that these seeds would grow and bare fruits that later I would feed others just as I was fed. Exploitation of innocence mixed with anger and rage gave me over to a closet life of sexual immorality and sexual impurity. A conscience baring witness against me and a shame that drove me further and further into darkness.
Galatians 6:7-9 reminds us: Do not be deceived, God is not mocked; for whatever a man sows, this he will also reap. 8 For the one who sows to his own flesh will from the flesh reap corruption, but the one who sows to the Spirit will from the Spirit reap eternal life. 9 Let us not lose heart in doing good, for in due time we will reap if we do not grow weary.
As I grappled with this corruption I have been shown by the grace of God many things. Please be warned I am very open about these struggles and my verbiage will be direct and concise.
What is this corruption- it is the corruption of our perception of who we are. And how you perceive your self you will perceive others. It is of course merely the deception of seeing in darkness. Once we have sat in that darkness long enough our eyes adjust to it and we begin to call that darkness light. We actually believe what we're seeing about ourselves and others in darkness.
For me as a boy being molested by men and raped by men I referenced who I was through the eyes of my predator. As the predator references his self through the eyes of his
I found self gratification could only be sustained within this vicious cycle. I either had to imagine myself being victimized or as the victimizer. As this behavior grew I found my self entertained by watching others play these roles and I got deep into pornography. Today we can find any perversion under the sun on the internet and with the right drug you can stay up for days and fill the eyes full with darkness. being entertained by more and more people living within their own corruption of self awareness. Ephesians 4:17-19 reminds us: 17 So I tell you this, and insist on it in the Lord, that you must no longer live as the Gentiles do, in the futility of their thinking. 18 They are darkened in their understanding and separated from the life of God because of the ignorance that is in them due to the hardening of their hearts. 19 Having lost all sensitivity, they have given themselves over to sensuality so as to indulge in every kind of impurity, with a continual lust for more.
Some of these scriptures sound so finite. But I assure you that God has never been confused by our confusion. Our Heavenly Father has only one reference to who we are and His mind has never changed about that. When we have come out of darkness into the light of a benevolent Fathers unfailing love for us , our hardened hearts are circumcised and we begin to reference ourselves by His love for us and then we begin to reference others by that same love. Being born again is not an incantation or a 3 step process. Being born again is becoming aware that you were born from above long before you were conceived in your mother's womb your Father knew you and called you by name. Being in the world and not of the world takes on a deeper meaning when you consider that you were conceived in the mind of God before the foundation of the world. When you sow to the Spirit you walk in the light as He is in the light. Then you have fellowship one with another and truly our fellowship is with the Father and His Beloved Humanity also know as Jesus Christ. Know that we are not animals. We are created in the image and the likeness of the one true invisible creator. When the creator called out His creation He spoke to the substance of which it was to be formed. the fish He spoke to the sea..the cattle and creeping thing and plants and trees He spoke to the land. Mankind.. He spoke to Himself. Let us make man in our own image. You were in that "US" We are the offspring of God. We are the temples of His Spirit. He has never been separated from us. The Lamb of God was given not to change the mind of an angry God.. But to change our angry minds. I have now overcome darkness by becoming aware of the light that dwells in me. I know to whom I reference my identity and to whom i do not. My sheep hear my voice and a strangers voice they will not follow.
But what if the voice isn't a stranger's voice. It's a voice that seems to speak to us more than the voice of God. My flesh sometime argues the point with pangs but those are death pangs. I confess with my mouth and believe in my heart that Jesus Christ is not just an example to us but He is the blueprint of who we are all made to be. The word made flesh. Remember Romans 8:1-4 Therefore, there is now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus, 2 because through Christ Jesus the law of the Spirit of life set me free from the law of sin and death. 3 For what the law was powerless to do in that it was weakened by the sinful nature, God did by sending his own Son in the likeness of sinful man to be a sin offering. And so he condemned sin in sinful man, 4 in order that the righteous requirements of the law might be fully met in us, who do not live according to the sinful nature but according to the Spirit. If there is no condemnation there is no imputing of sin. This one thin I do. I forget those things which are behind me and I press forward toward the prize that is Christ. Father's only reference to who we are is Christ. Now Go and Be-Loved Beloved.

          Re: Overcoming Lust & Temptation.

A poll conducted by one of the world's most visited Christian websites indicates a surprising number of Christians are addicted to pornography.

The poll results indicate that 50% of all Christian men and 20% of all Christian women are addicted to pornography.

The group defines "addicted" as applied to pornography as use on an ongoing basis.

"We are seeing an escalation to the problem in both men and women who regularly attend church," said Bill Cooper, President of

"No one is immunized against the vice-grip clutches of sexual addictive behaviors," reads a release issued by the site. "The people who struggle with the repeated pursuit of sexual gratification include church members, deacons, staff, and yes, even clergy."

How many Christians (especially) men can honestly say, "whenever I am tempted to lust, I NEVER give in." I have 100% conquered that sin. No problem?

If David, who was “a man after God’s own heart,” and many other strong men and women of faith yielded to sexual temptation, it could happen to any of us. Pornography may be the new addiction of this new century. Researchers are finding that when people indulge in porn, they release powerful chemicals in their brain and body. Mark Kastleman, author of The Drug of the New Millennium, said, "There are a growing number of therapists and psychologists who are saying that this is as addictive as cocaine," or alcohol, or even heroin. He explained that, when people view porn, "It causes the brain to release what we call endogenous drugs or endogenous chemicals. 'Endogenous' meaning 'produced from within.' So where cocaine or alcohol seek to mimic the brain's natural chemicals, pornography releases the real deal. And so we have things like adrenaline, epinephrine, ACTH."

Due to our fallen nature, we will have to deal with the temptation to lust until we die. The temptation to lust will come in many forms including ungodly sexual appetites; and there are lusts, such as the lust of power, fame or position. We must rely on the power of the Holy Spirit inside us to overcome lust every day. No matter the form of lust we face, we can be assured that we have a High Priest and Advocate with the Father who "understands every weakness of ours" and "was tempted in every way that we are. But He did not sin" (Hebrews 4:15; 1 John 2:1). I commend you for seeking the prayers of other Christians in your battle to overcome this and your open honesty. James 5:16 - Confess your trespasses to one another, and pray for one another, that you may be healed. The effective, fervent prayer of a righteous man avails much.
Galatians 6:14 - But God forbid that I should boast except in the cross of our Lord Jesus Christ, by whom the world has been crucified to me, and I to the world.

            Re: Overcoming Lust & Temptation.

            Hello Keven,

I don't know if this has been mentioned as I have not read every response, but in Bible College I learned about a specific thing in Romans 7 that may help.

In Romans 7:18 Paul's focus was all wrong. He was trying to figure out HOW to get the victory.

But when he got to writitng Romans 7:24 his focus was right. He asked the question, WHO shall deliver me from this body of death?

In the first situation, Paul was attempting to do it on his own, looking for a key as to HOW to obtain victory.

In the second, Paul placed his reliance on Christ, Christ is the WHO that was the answer to his question.

It is not about religion; it is about a relationship.

Focus in on Him and seek His face; there is no key as to HOW. HE will deliver you as you continue to press into that relationship.

I'm encouraging myself here as much as you; but I know that scripturally this is the answer.

              Re: Overcoming Lust & Temptation.

Hi Keven, a prayer was lifted up for you and Lord willing if you are so lead follow the Word of Knowledge given here religiously: Fornication is a sin against the body that will in time bring all kinds of woes, havoc and diseases unless truly repented in the name of Jesus the Christ of Nazareth, the Messiah. Where Christians fail in temptations of the flesh is they do not truly repent of their sin nor all of the sins in their past; all these sins, not truly repented, have consequences that wear at a person's free will to choose the right road. First of all asking God/Jesus/Holy Ghost to help you is a must and then read Psalm 91 and the first four verses of Psalm 68 anytime you feel these urges coming on or when there is any evil influence. The Word of God (The Tree of Light, Life, Love, Wisdom, Understanding and Knowledge) tells us to put on our "Armour of Light" in any given situation and you can do this by just saying this simple prayer, "Jesus what do I say or do"; now depending on your faith you will receive what to say or do. Read the Word of God daily in doing so you will become sanctified and purified. Remember what you allow yourself to think, see, hear, say and do literally set into motion Almighty God’s creative powers that form the matrix of life’s reality you find yourself now walking whether good or bad; so knowing this practice each day focusing your whole attention on your movements whether thoughts, sight, sounds, words or deeds, doing that which is good, positive and constructive.
The Word of God tells us there is life after death and now science is proving it. A British scientist at the forefront of this theory claims that humans have souls, which don't die along with the body. We may not know exactly what consciousness is, but physicist Sir Roger Penrose believes that it's just a packet of information stored at a quantum - or sub-atomic - level. Sensationally, he claims to have found evidence that this information, which is stored in microtubules within human cells, leaves the body after a person dies. Sir Roger has argued that when a person dies temporarily, this quantum information is released into the universe, only to return to the body's cells if the host is brought back to life. He argues that this explains why people can have near-death experiences, and believes that this quantum information amounts to a soul leaving the body. The physics expert said: "If the patient dies, it's possible that this quantum information can exist outside the body, perhaps indefinitely, as a soul."
"A man can no more diminish God's glory or His Son Jesus by refusing to worship them than a lunatic can put out the sun by scribbling the word, 'darkness' on the walls of his cell.”
The Daniel Project was playing on Netflix and can be found on Face book; this documentary will open the eyes of some skeptics concerning the Word of God, prophecies fulfilled and Jesus the Christ of Nazareth, the Messiah.
If you do not know Jesus the Christ of Nazareth, the Messiah, as your personal savior, yet believe He is Lord, was born of the Virgin Mary, died for your sins, arose from the dead the third day and is now at the right hand of Almighty God, then if so lead say this simple prayer to be saved and have eternal life in the Kingdom of God and not be Judged for sins truly repented.
Jesus loves you and is calling you.
“Hear Oh Israel the Lord our God is one Lord and blessed is the Glory of the Lord from His place; Precious Jesus the Christ of Nazareth please forgive me my sins and come into my heart and life forever Amen.”
If you are sincere in this prayer then know for certain that you are saved and if you need help on your Christian walk contact me through my website below.

This kind of thing makes me think of someone who is addicted to touching a hot burner on a stove over and over again.

Now picture part of you telling you, "It's not going to burn your hand this time.".

You're never going to get a different result. You are going to get burned by sin every single time.

                    Re: Overcoming Lust & Temptation.

I have struggled with lust and temptation since I was 11 years old. But as a christian young woman I am also forced to keep a lot of it to myself...and God is faithful, he has spared me a lot of grief. But I will say, the challenge is never truly gone. I finally was diagnosed with PCOS which throws your hormones out of whack, and realized that I have a medical issue which creates greater issue for me with it. But that doesn't excuse me from sin, and although I have lost a lot of battles and made a ton of mistakes I am ashamed of, by God's grace, I have not had physical intimacy with a man. I don't know how I will make it until the wedding day if I ever get married and honestly I beg God daily to bring my husband.
So I think this is a struggle that I know a thing or two about.
I have only found one thing that has ever really worked. Sometimes I can suffer through the worst of it and just wait for things to get better... I NEVER will spend time with a guy alone when I know that I'm physically already amped up.
But the only truly effective thing I have found is to have an intensely close relationship with God...when I am regularly having powerful encounters with the presence of God in worship and prayer, I don't notice or register much in the way of physical distress over that.
And it also makes me feel stronger in my conviction to war against it and not give in, which is so important...the strength of conviction is what drives us to follow through on the things that we believe.
I hope this helps someone...the truth is that it's a battle against our flesh in one way or another, for our entire life... but we have to keep the course and never give up and let ourselves be overcome by evil.

                        Re: Overcoming Lust & Temptation.

Let me explain to you what you have not understood that you are doing.

When you visit a web site, you are supporting that web site financially and implicitly by accepting of its influence. Those who present ads on their web site profit from page views or mouse clicks. Therefore, consider carefully the computers with which you choose to have your computer connect.

Let's take a look at what happens when you visit a web site that displays pornography. The individuals or organizations who post such depictions of lewd or adulterous acts earn money or other forms of encouragement from your computer having connected to that web site. Lewdness and adultery are two kinds of evil which you have thus funded or encouraged. Where does the money come from? It comes from all kinds of sources: selling information which you do not even know you are providing to them to advertisers and in harmful data collection groups such as "black markets", bait-and-switch and other deceitful "cash grab" tactics by those who place enticing advertisements there and by those whose advertisements are there, and several other deceitful and clandestine individuals and organizations. Lying is evil. Deception is evil.

Jesus said to them, "If God were your Father, you would love me, for I have come here from God. I have not come on my own; God sent me. Why is my language not clear to you? Because you are unable to hear what I say. You belong to your father, The Devil, and you want to carry out your father's desires. He was a murderer from the beginning, not holding to the truth, for there is no truth in him. When he lies, he speaks his native language, for he is a liar and the father of lies. Yet because I tell the truth, you do not believe me! Can any of you prove me guilty of sin? If I am telling the truth, why don't you believe me? Whoever belongs to God hears what God says. The reason you do not hear is that you do not belong to God." The Jews answered him, "Aren't we right in saying that you are a Samaritan and demon-possessed?" "I am not possessed by a demon," said Jesus, "but I honor My Father and you dishonor me. I am not seeking glory for myself; but there is one who seeks it, and he is The Judge. I tell you the truth, anyone who remains obedient to my teaching will never die!"

The money and encouragement from your use of "products and services", including web sites you "visit", goes to the ones who are providing and using that. Would you be more likely to use a well-known, "established" web site, which appears to be used by others, than a web site that indicates no sign of use by others? Would you visit a forum or watch a YouTube video if its view count were zero, or would you instead look at "the popular news" which appears to have millions of people having seen it, as if to say that you also should be "in the know" like others are about the information contained therein, or as if by indicating that millions of people have viewed something thus logic would dictate that it has credibility or establishment by its apparent age of presence or influence upon those people? I tell you the truth, you would be buying into deceitful, manipulative advertising tactics by considering such things as reason. You would buy with your mind and your money, and possibly subject your soul to rebuke or condemnation. Consider this a warning among the warnings so desired by those burning in Hell to be given to those not yet burning in Hell.

"[...] In Hades, where he was in torment, he looked up and saw Abraham far away, with Lazarus by his side. So he called to him, 'Father Abraham, have pity on me and send Lazarus to dip the tip of his finger in water and cool my tongue, because I am in agony in this fire.' But Abraham replied, 'Son, remember that in your lifetime you received your good things, while Lazarus received bad things, but now he is comforted here and you are in agony. And besides all this, between us and you a great chasm has been set in place, so that those who want to go from here to you cannot, nor can anyone cross over from there to us.' He answered, 'Then I beg you, father, send Lazarus to my family, for I have five brothers. Let him warn them, so that they will not also come to this place of torment.' Abraham replied, 'They have Moses and The Prophets; let them listen to them.' 'No, father Abraham,' he said, 'but if someone from the dead goes to them, they will repent.' He said to him, 'If they do not listen to Moses and The Prophets, they will not be convinced even if someone rises from the dead.'" Jesus said to his disciples: "Things that tempt people into sin are bound to come, but woe to anyone through whom they come. It would be better for them to be thrown into the sea with a millstone tied around their neck than for them to cause one of these little ones to stumble. So watch yourselves. If your brother or sister sins against you, rebuke them; and if they repent, forgive them. Even if they sin against you seven times in a day and seven times come back to you saying 'I repent', you must forgive them." Then the apostles requested of the Lord, "Give us more faith!" He replied, "If you have faith as small as a mustard seed, you can say to this mulberry tree, 'Be uprooted and planted in the sea,' and it will obey you. Suppose one of you has a servant plowing or looking after the sheep. Will he say to the servant when he comes in from the field, 'Come along now and sit down to eat'? No, he says, 'Prepare my meal, put on your apron, and serve me while I eat. Then you can eat later.' Does the master thank the servant for doing what he was told to do? Of course not. So you also, when you have done everything you were told to do, should say, 'We are unworthy servants; we have only done our duty.'"

When you visit a pornographic web site, the ones who provide content on it give what they have to entice you to return. They present what they think you will want to see, as an author presents a pretty picture on the cover of the book they have written and from which they intend to publish and make "a living". The person or people who present acts of adultery are desiring that you visit their web site repeatedly to sustain them directly and indirectly, both financially and with your access as implicit encouragement and license to affect and influence you. On the front cover of the pornographic book, you see what they want you to see, and what they have: evil adulterous or lewd acts which entice and influence you and more people into committing corresponding acts of evil sin.

What you do not see is the inside of the book, and the people to whom the money goes. That is where you have funding for those who desire to abduct your children and subject them to sexual depravity and sell them into slavery. Have you not seen? Aren't you distressed by your own pain and suffering? By visiting a pornographic web site, you subject many more innocent people to much more pain and suffering than you have experienced, in a much worse way and for a much longer period of time. Should God allow you to view pornography? Should God say, "it's OK", when he looks at child abuse simply because you have funded it? Your arrogance and narcissism blind you as they steal your money and your soul, all the while distressing and destroying everyone else they can in the same way or worse!

"Reconcile quickly with your adversary, while you are still on the way to court. Otherwise he may hand you over to the judge, and the judge may hand you over to the officer, and you may be thrown into prison. And if that happens, you surely won't be free again until you have paid the last penny. You have heard that it was said, 'You shall not commit adultery.' But I tell you that anyone who looks at a woman lustfully has already committed adultery with her in his heart. If your right eye causes you to stumble, gouge it out and throw it away [prevent yourself from using it to sin]. It is better for you to lose one part of your body than for your whole body to be thrown into Hell. And if your right hand causes you to stumble, cut it off and throw it away [prevent yourself from using it to sin]. It is better for you to lose one part of your body than for your whole body to be thrown into Hell intact, 'where the maggots never die and the fire never goes out'. Everyone will be salted with fire; furthermore, every sacrifice will be salted with salt. Salt is good, but if it loses its saltiness, how can you make it salty again? It is no longer good for anything, except to be thrown out and trampled by men. Have salt among yourselves, and be at peace with each other."

It is more than this; there is more! What you do matters. If you cause evil, directly or indirectly, that leads back to you, and then leads to The Devil -- you would be serving Satan. If you cause good, directly or indirectly, that leads back to you, and then leads to Jesus Christ -- you would be serving God. And when God "demands your life from you", he will reveal every action in light for each person (including every individual you have feared or sought to please) to clearly see, and in the proper context:

                        John 3:1-21

Now there was a Pharisee, a man named Nicodemus who was a member of the Jewish ruling council. He came to Jesus at night and said, "Rabbi, we know that you are a teacher who has come from God. For no one could perform the signs you are doing if God were not with him."

Jesus replied, "Very truly I tell you, no one can see the kingdom of God unless they are born again [from above]."

"How can someone be born when they are old?" Nicodemus asked. "Surely they cannot enter a second time into their mother's womb to be born!"

Jesus answered, "Very truly I tell you, no one can enter the kingdom of God unless they are born of water and The Spirit. Flesh gives birth to flesh, but The Spirit gives birth to spirit. You should not be surprised at my saying, 'You all must be born again [from above].' The wind blows wherever it pleases. You hear its sound, but you cannot tell where it comes from or where it is going. So it is with everyone born of The Spirit."

"How can this be?" Nicodemus asked.

"You are Israel's teacher," said Jesus, "and do you not understand these things? I tell you certainly truthfully, we speak of what we know, and we testify to what we have seen, but still you people do not accept our testimony. I have spoken to you of earthly things and you do not believe; how then will you believe if I speak of Heavenly things? No one has ever gone into Heaven except the one who came from heaven -- the Son of Man [(who, as of this writing, is now in Heaven)]. Just as Moses lifted up the snake in the wilderness, so the Son of Man must be lifted up, so that everyone who believes may have eternal life in him. This is all because God loved the world so much that he gave His One-and-Only Son, so that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life. God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but to save the world through him[self]. Whoever believes in him is not condemned, but whoever does not believe stands condemned already because they have not believed in the name of God's One-and-Only Son. This is the verdict: Light has come into the world, but people loved darkness instead of light because their deeds were evil. Everyone who does evil hates the light, and will not come into the light for fear that their deeds will be exposed. But whoever lives by the truth comes into the light, so that it may be seen plainly that what they have done has been done in the sight of God."

So you see, authors of pornographic web sites and those who provide content to earn money by the spreading of evil sin for people who commit adultery act in secret and their funding is in secret. Do you think they pay taxes? No, such evil becomes "blood money", fueling the enslavement and abuse and rape and murder of many innocent people. And you want all this to happen so you can masturbate while pretending that you are married to one or more men or women you do not even know? What do you think is more import to God: that you deceive yourself to feed your wicked and deceitful lust, or to free the oppressed and bring them justice to heal you and the land? Who then is of sound mind and constitution: a person who defends pornography or a person who warns others, "Danger! Abuse! Criminals! Keep away!"?

Let me ask you another question. When you see someone holler "danger, lock the doors, armed criminals are here" and you do nothing, will the armed criminals be nice to you because you were friendly and welcoming and let them inside? No, they will say, "You will die just like the others." So it will be with every nation who benefits and permits the wicked without working with God to hinder and decisively end evil and bring the evil to justice. "...but people loved evil because their deeds were evil..." "The good man brings good things out of the good [thoughts] stored up in his heart, and the evil man brings evil things out of the evil [thoughts] stored up in his heart. Out of the overflow of the heart, the mouth speaks." But evil people use enticing marketing to grab your money and fund the rape market, so that they can grow their industry of cancerous death which rots a nation from the inside out by rotting people's hearts from the inside out.

Luke 9:37-45 (see also Mark 9:20-29 for additional information and revelation about what happened here)
The next day, when they came down from the mountain, a large crowd met him. A man in the crowd called out, "Teacher, I beg you to look at my son, for he is my only child. A spirit seizes him and he suddenly screams; it throws him into convulsions so that he foams at the mouth. It scarcely ever leaves him and is destroying him. I begged your disciples to drive it out, but they could not." "You unbelieving and perverse generation," Jesus replied, "how long shall I stay with you and put up with you? Bring your son here." As the boy came forward, the demon knocked him to the ground and threw him into a violent convulsion. But Jesus rebuked the evil spirit and healed the boy; when the demon left the boy, he looked so much like a corpse that some people standing there exclaimed that the boy had died, but Jesus took the boy by the hand and lifted him to his feet so he could stand up. Then he gave him back to his father. Awe gripped the people as they saw this majestic display of God's power. While everyone was marveling at everything he was doing, Jesus said to his disciples, "Listen to me now and remember what I say; consider the following. The Son of Man is going to be betrayed into the hands of his mortal enemies." But they didn't know what he meant. Its significance was hidden from them, so they couldn't understand it, and they were afraid to ask him about it.

                        John 8:2-12
At dawn he appeared again in the temple courts, where all the people gathered around him, and he sat down to teach them. The teachers of the law and the Pharisees brought in a woman caught in adultery. They made her stand before the group and said to Jesus, "Teacher, this woman was caught in the act of adultery. In the Law, Moses commanded us to stone such women. Now what do you say?" They were using this question as a trap in order to have a basis for accusing him. But Jesus bent down and started to write on the ground with his finger. When they kept on questioning him, he straightened up and said to them, "Let any one of you who is without sin be the first to throw a stone at her." Again he stooped down and wrote on the ground. At this, those who heard began to go away one at a time, the older ones first, until only Jesus was left, with the woman still standing there. Jesus straightened up and asked her, "Woman, where are they? Has no one condemned you?" "No one, sir," she said. "Then neither do I condemn you," Jesus declared. "Go now and leave your life of sin." When Jesus spoke again to the people, he said, "I am the light of the world. Whoever follows me will never walk in darkness, but will have the light of life."

"But the tax collector stood at a distance. He would not even look up to heaven, but beat his breast and said, ‘God, have mercy on me, a sinner.’" (Luke 18:13).

And for all of you who deny that God's way is right, "you are the ones who justify yourselves in the eyes of men, but God knows your hearts; what is highly valuable among men is detestable in God's sight". Repent and believe The Good News!

When I have said, "'I will never leave you,' says the Lord", some have told me to never speak to them again. "When I called, they would not listen, so when they called, I would not listen." And I even sent it in a text message as a stranger so they had no basis for accusing my person as being offensive to them or of having prior history with me -- no, they rejected God plain and simple. Will God accept those who reject him? God does not entertain evil in his presence, but says: "I will search for the lost and bring back the strays. I will bind up the injured and strengthen the weak, but the sleek and the strong I will destroy. I will shepherd the flock with justice." (Statement recorded in Ezekiel 34:16).

Whose side are you on? "If you were Abraham's children, you would do the kinds of things that Abraham did. As it is, you are determined to kill me, a man who has told you the truth that I heard from God. Abraham did not do such things. You are doing the things your own father does." [...] (John 8:39-41).

I have presented compelling arguments against the prostitution of pornography. Who will uphold them in court? "But there is one who seeks glory for himself, and he is The Judge."

                          Re: Overcoming Lust & Temptation.

Lust is an open door to suffering. No matter how handsome or sexy that doorman or stewardess is, by walking towards that door, you are giving into stupidity, walking right into harm's way, stepping right in front of that train, putting your hand right on that stove burner, doing something that will cause you such pain and suffering that you will regret for your entire life and the rest of your existence. I mean, it's enough to make a person want to murder everyone who they find sexually attractive, to keep themselves from that malice of lust. But the problem is a matter of the heart, and Jesus Christ is the heart doctor. If you find yourself in a bad situation with your heart, pray to God who is within Jesus Christ, and he will alleviate the matter instantaneously so that all is well again. He said, "Love your neighbor as if they were you." In such a situation, pray for that person's well-being and move on. And this might be a physical sign that you need to use the toilet or bathe to remove the physical bacteria off of your skin. Or perhaps drink some water and sleep. The problem is not overcoming sexual desire, but praying for the person's well-being and letting God handle all your problems how he knows they should be properly resolved. If this means that you have to masturbate until you know better, then trust God and masturbate, and some day you will know better, because he will teach you what your desire cannot possibly comprehend. In fact, lust is a distraction from God, as are accusations (Satan means accuser) a distraction from understanding that God loves you more than you know and defends you from threats you know nothing about. Don't lust, trust.

And I already proved to you in my previous post here one way in which you massively hurt many innocent people by engaging in adultery. Not only this, but you massively hurt people who are yet born who are even remotely related to that evil act. "But it doesn't hurt anyone," is exactly the words Satan is whispering into your ear as he smiles at the knowledge that you will destroy yourself like a samurai performing seppuku on his sword. But Jesus Christ is always with you. "I will never leave you," says The Sovereign Lord. "No one can remove you from my hand. My Father, who has given you to me, is greater than all. No one can remove you from my Heavenly Father's hand. The Father and I are one." You do not need to engage with treacherous, self-poisoning, self-depraved weeds who want to choke you to death, suffocating you with evil thoughts and desires to destroy yourself in the pursuit of gratifying their own perverse desires. They will burn. "Let the dead bury their own dead, but you follow me."

                          Do not steal.
                          Do not kill.
                          Do not commit adultery.
                          Do not give false testimony.
                          Honor your parents.
Love your neighbor as if they were you. Do to others what you want God to do to you.

Read Jesus Christ's words. Then you will know the truth, and the truth will set you free from enslavement to sin. "Go now and leave your life of sin."

All you have to do is listen to Jesus Christ. Put the blinders on, sit in silence in a private location (not a public location), and invest all your understanding and attention in learning from him. THEN we're talking. Don't be afraid, because even all your thoughts in your heart he will answer every day of your life. "I, the Lord, do not change. Therefore, you are not destroyed. Every since the time of your ancestors, your people have been rebelling against me and neglecting my decrees. Return to me with all your heart and I will return to you. You are robbing me of what belongs to me. Bring to me all your heart in prayer; test me in this, and see if I will not open the floodgates of Heaven and pour out so much blessing upon you that you will not know what to do with it all. I will prevent pests from devouring your crops; you will have plenty of food. All the nations will call you favored and blessed, because by doing this, I will heal your hearts and your land."

                          Lust is a burden.
"Come here to me, all of you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest. Take my guidance upon yourself and learn from me, because I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your soul, because my guidance is easy and my workload is light."

And when you suffer, keep watch for his return on the clouds of the sky as he described.

But for me, simply knowing that I am severely hurting many innocent people has prevented me from engaging in such activities.

Demons inside of a person can influence the temptation/sin dynamic. They should be cast out of a person. As a high level servant of the Lord Jesus Christ, I cast out demons.

As for scripture, I recommend praying the Lord's prayer.
These are the parts of the Lord's prayer that I find most helpful against demons that would affect a person with sexual immorality.
Forgive us our debts, as we have forgiven our debtors.
I pray we not fall to temptation, but deliver us from the evil one.
