  • Need Advice: peach pie help please

    I am making my first ever homemade peach pie (no sugar) how long do I leave it in the oven and at what temp???? I just put it in at 350 f

    At 350, you'll need to leave that pie in for about an hour or so. Normally you'd start it at about 425 on the bottom oven rack for 15 mins or so and then reduce the heat to 350 for the next 35 mins.... but since you started at 350, I'd keep it there and just watch it. You'll know it's done when the crust is a golden brown colour and if you put a fork into a peach it'll be REALLY soft... and when the filling seems thicker, too.

    And when that pie's down, FED-EX me some!!

      Lol on the fed ex OK an hour it will be..... I wish I could fed ex you some...I have a whole pie.....fresh peaches etc....mmmmm m.......I also made stir fry and stuffed peppers all my own peppers....home grown I would make a good wife... Thanks to this board lol.....I ad lib all my cooking..oddly it comes out really good

                            Yum Ashley! That looks delicious! I haven;t made a pie in a while, but I made a peach cobbler the other day. Hubby was poking around in the fridge and found some peaches and mentioned that he didn't like the fuzzy skin, so I said I knew that, had bought them to make a pie or a cobbler. He looked at me with his pleading eyes and asked if I'd make it now, so I obliged lol. It was yummy!
