    Tempelwyding in Jerusalem

    Johannes
    10:22-39
It was at Jerusalem the feast of the dedication, and it was winter.

And Jesus walked in the temple in Solomon’s porch.

Then came the Jews round about him, and said unto him, How long

dost thou make us to doubt? If thou be the Christ, tell us plainly.

Jesus answered them ... 30 I and my Father are One.

Then the Jews took up stones again to stone him.

39 en het Hom ook toe probeer vang,
Therefore they sought again to take him :

but he escaped out of their hand

    Weg na die opper-Jordaan

    Johannes 10:40-42
He went away again beyond Jordan into the place

where John at first baptized; and there he abode.

And many resorted unto Him, and said, John did no

miracle: but all things that John spake of this man

het, was waar. 42 En baie het daar in Hom geglo.
were true. 42 And many believed on him there.

    Oor Tirus en Sidon

    Markus 7:24(-30)
And from thence he arose, and went into the borders of Tyre ...

    in ’n huis gaan bly Hy wou hÍ niemand moes weet waar nie;
and entered into an house, and would have no man know it:

maar dit kon nie geheim bly nie.
but he could not be hid.

    Matteus 15:21(-28)
…Jesus went thence, and departed into the coasts of Tyre and Sidon

en vra Hom of Hy hom sou gesondmaak.
and besought him to touch him.

And he left them, and entering into the ship again departed to the other side.

And Jesus went out, and his disciples, into the towns

van Sesarea-Filippi. Op pad vra Hy sy dissipels
of Caesarea Philippi: and by the way He asked his disciples,

en sÍ vir hulle: Wie sÍ die mense, is Ek?
        λέγων αὐτοῖς Τίνα με λέγουσιν οἱ ἄνθρωποι εἶναι;
saying, Whom do men say that I am?

And he began to teach them, that the Son of man must

suffer many things, and be rejected of the elders,

and the chief priests, and scribes, and be killed,

and after three days rise again.

        Matteus 16:13; 21-28
When Jesus came into the coasts of Caesarea Philippi,

he asked his disciples, saying, Whom do men say that

        I the Son of man am? ... ... ...

From that time forth began Jesus to shew unto his disciples,

how that he must go unto Jerusalem, and suffer many things

of the elders and chief priests and scribes, and

be killed, and be raised again the third day.

For the Son of man shall come in the glory

of his Father with his angels; and then he shall reward

        vergeld volgens sy dade.
every man according to his works.

Verily I say unto you, There be some standing here,

which shall not taste of death, till

they see the Son of man coming in his kingdom.

        Lukas 9:18-22
And it came to pass, as he was alone praying,

his disciples were with him: and he asked them,

        λέγων Τίνα με οἱ ὄχλοι λέγουσιν εἶναι;
saying, Whom say the people that I am?

They answering said, John the Baptist; but some say,

Elias; and others say, that one of the old prophets is risen again.

        εἶπεν δὲ αὐτοῖς Ὑμεῖς δὲ τίνα με λέγετε εἶναι;
He said unto them, But whom say ye that I am?

Peter answering said, The Christ of God.

        he… charged them and commanded them to tell no man that thing;

Saying, The Son of man must suffer many things, and

be rejected of the elders and chief priests and scribes,

and be slain, and be raised the third day.

        Kapernaum

        Matteus
        17: ...24 (voor vers 1)
Toe hulle in Kapernaum was, konfronteer
And when they were come to Capernaum,

they that received tribute money came to Peter, and said …

Julle leier betaal nie belasting nie!
your master … doth he not pay tribute?

        Verheerliking op ’n hoŽ berg

        Markus
        9:2(-13)
Jesus taketh with him Peter, and James, and John,

and leadeth them up into an high mountain apart by themselves:

and he was transfigured before them . . .

        Matteus
        17:1(-8)
Jesus neem Petrus en Jakobus en Johannes
Jesus taketh Peter, James, and John

his brother, and bringeth them up into an high mountain apart

And was transfigured before them . . .

            M.a.w. jy <mis> die geheel.

Eenkeer duisend keer vir elke keer is dit my enigste terugvoering.

JALOERS! En jaloesie is die Moeder van venyn!

                Jaaaa…

And while they abode in Galilee, Jesus said unto them,

                  Lukas 17:11(-28)

And it came to pass, as he went to Jerusalem, that he

passed through the midst of Samaria and Galilee.

12 Soos Hy ’n sekere gehuggie ingeloop gekom het, kom

                  Jesus verneem Lasarus is siek

                  Johannes 11:1-16

Now a certain man was sick, Lazarus of Bethany,

tuisdorp van Maria en haar suster Marta—

It was Mary which anointed the Lord with ointment and wiped his

feet with her hair, whose brother Lazarus was sick.

he whom thou lovest is sick. 4 When Jesus heard, He said,

of God, that the Son of God might be glorified thereby.

Now Jesus loved Martha, and her sister, and Lazarus.

When Jesus heard (that Lazarus was sick) he abode

two days still in the same place where he was. 7 Then after that

                  λέγει τοῖς μαθηταῖς Ἄγωμεν εἰς τὴν Ἰουδαίαν πάλιν;
saith he to his disciples, Let us go into Judea ...

His disciples say unto him, Master, the Jews of late

Jode U probeer stenig, en U wil wťťr soŽntoe gaan?
                  Ἰουδαῖοι, καὶ πάλιν ὑπάγεις ἐκεῖ;
sought to stone thee; and goest thou thither again?

                  ἀπεκρίθη Ἰησοῦς Οὐχὶ δώδεκα ὧραί εἰσιν τῆς ἡμέρας;
Jesus answered, Are there not twelve hours in the day?

If any man walk in the day, he stumbleth not, because he seeth the light

of this world. But if a man walk in the night, he stumbleth,

hy, want daar is geen lig in hom nie. 11 Dit het Hy gesÍ.
because there is no light in him. 11 These things said he.

                  Daarna sÍ Hy vir hulle: Lasarus ons vriend slaap;
                  and after that he saith unto them, Our friend Lazarus sleepeth;

but I go, that I may awake him out of sleep ...

12 Waarop sy dissipels sÍ: Here, as hy slaap, sal hy regkom.
Then said his disciples, Lord, if he sleep, he shall do well.

Howbeit Jesus spake of his death: but they thought that

Hy praat oor die slaap in onbewustheid. 14 Toe vertel Jesus
he had spoken of rest in sleep. 14 Then said Jesus

hulle reguit: Lasarus is dood. 15 Maar Ek is bly vir julle
unto them plainly, Lazarus is dead. 15 I am glad for your sakes

that I was not there, to the intent ye may believe; nevertheless let us go unto him.

Then said Thomas which is called Didymus unto his fellow disciples,

Let us also go, that we may die with him. [Eks14:11]

Op pad na Jerusalem : Terug Jordaan langs na Judea

                  Markus 10:1(-)28
..he cometh into the coasts of Judaea by the farther side of Jordan:

and the people resort unto him again; and, as

he was wont, he taught them again.

28 Toe het Petrus begin om te sÍ ... Ons tog het al’s verlaat en
Then Peter began to say unto him, Lo, we have left all, and

...many first shall be last; and the last first.

                  Matteus 19:1; 27-30

Then answered Peter and said unto him, Behold, we have forsaken all,

and began to tell them what things should happen unto him.

                    "Ek Is Die Lig"

Jerigo met sy blindes [Josua 6:26]

                    Lukas 18:35(-43) [Een blinde]
                    Vervolgens, soos Hy Jerigo nader,
And it came to pass, that as he was come nigh unto Jericho,

a certain blind man sat by the way side begging:

And hearing the multitude pass by, he asked what it meant.

And they told him, that Jesus of Nazareth passeth by.

38 Hy het uitgeroep: Jesus, Seun van Dawid, wees my genadig!
And he cried, saying, Jesus, thou Son of David, have mercy on me.

they which went before rebuked him, that he should hold his peace:

Hy het baie harder geroep: Seun van Dawid, wees my genadig!

he cried so much the more, Thou Son of David, have mercy on me.

And Jesus stood, and commanded him to be brought unto him:

                    [* Lev23:21,22 Eks13:8]

And immediately he received his sight, and followed him,

                    gave praise unto God.

                    Lukas 19:1-10 [Hb11:7,9]
2 Nou was daar

                    ’n man genaamd SaggťŁs. Die einste was hooftollenaar;

and could not for the press, because he was little of stature.

sodat hy Hom kon sien, want Hy kom netnou verby.

for to day I must abide at thy house.

[Hb11:13b]
And he made haste, and came down, and received him joyfully.

And when they saw it, they all murmured, saying, That

And he, casting away his garment, rose, and came to Jesus.

                    καὶ ἀποκριθεὶς αὐτῷ ὁ Ἰησοῦς εἶπεν Τί σοι θέλεις ποιήσω;
Jesus answered and said unto him What wilt thou that I should do?

The blind man said unto him, Lord, that I might receive my sight.

...Jesus said unto him, Go thy way; thy faith hath made thee whole.

...immediately he received his sight, and followed Jesus in the way.

                    Matteus 20:29-34

when they heard that Jesus passed by, cried out, saying,

Here, wees ons genadig, U, Seun van Dawid!

Have mercy on us, O Lord, thou Son of David.

                    31 Die menigte het op hulle neergekom dat hulle stil moes bly;
...the multitude rebuked them because they should hold their peace

but they cried the more, saying,

Have mercy on us, O Lord thou Son of David.

And Jesus stood still, and called them, and said,

                    Τί θέλετε ποιήσω ὑμῖν;
What will ye that I shall do unto you?

They say unto him, Lord, that our eyes may be opened.

34 Met mededoŽ het Jesus hulle oŽ aangeraak,
So Jesus had compassion on them, and touched their eyes:

and immediately their eyes received sight, and they followed him.

                    Johannes 11:9,10; 12:35,36
                    ἀπεκρίθη Ἰησοῦς Οὐχὶ δώδεκα ὧραί εἰσιν τῆς ἡμέρας;
Jesus answered, Are there not twelve hours in the day?

in the night, he stumbleth, because there is no light in him.

ye may be the children of light. These things spake Jesus,

and departed, and did hide himself from them.

and had the bag, and bare what was put therein.

7 Toe sÍ Jesus: Laat haar begaan; want teen die dag
Then said Jesus, Let her alone: against the day

van my begrafnis mag sy dit onderneem.
                        8 Want die armes
of my burying hath she kept this. 8 For the poor

het julle altyd by julle; maar My het julle nie altyd nie.

always ye have with you;but me ye have not always.

Much people of the Jews therefore knew that he was there:

and they came not for Jesus' sake only, but

that they might see Lazarus also, whom he had raised from the dead.

The chief priests consulted that they might put Lazarus also to death

because that by reason of him many of the Jews went away, and believed on Jesus.

when they heard that Jesus was coming to Jerusalem,

13 palmtakke gepluk en uitgegaan Hom tegemoet,
Took branches of palm trees, and went forth to meet him,

en geskree: Hosanna! GeseŽnd is Hy wat kom

and cried, Hosanna: Blessed is the King of Israel

that cometh in the name of the Lord.

                          And Jesus, when he had found a young ass, sat thereon;

                          soos geskrywe is:
15 [Sag9:9 Jes62:11] Vrees nie, Dogter van Sion:
as it is written, 15 Fear not, daughter of Sion:

behold, thy King cometh, sitting on an ass's colt.

These things understood not his disciples at the first:

but when Jesus was glorified, then remembered they that

these things were written of him, and that they had done these things unto him.

The people therefore that was with him when he called Lazarus out

of his grave, and raised him from the dead, bare record.

For this cause the people also met him, for that they heard

dat Hy hierdie teken vermag het.
                          19 Toe het die FariseŽrs
that he had done this miracle. 19 The Pharisees therefore

onder mekaar gemor: Sien julle, ons bereik niks:

said among themselves, Perceive ye how ye prevail nothing?

behold, the world is gone after him.

Die Here het hom nodig. Dan sal hy hom oorstuur hiernatoe.

the Lord hath need of him; and straightway he will send him hither.

And seeing a fig tree afar off having leaves, he came,

(kyk) of daar (vye) aan dit was. Toe Hy by die vyeboom kom,

if haply he might find any thing thereon: and when he came to it,

vind Hy niks as blare nie; want dit was nie vyeseisoen nie.

he found nothing but leaves; for the time of figs was notyet.

And Jesus answered and said unto it ... hereafter for ever ...

mag iemand van jou vrug eet nie! Sy dissipels het Hom gehoor.

no man ... eat fruit of thee ... And his disciples heard it.

Now in the morning as he returned into the city, he hungered.

19 Toe Hy ’n vyeboom langs die pad sien, gaan Hy daarheen.
And when he saw a fig tree in the way, he came to it,

and found nothing thereon, but leaves only, and said unto it,

Let no fruit grow on thee henceforward for ever.

And presently the fig tree withered away.

the people in the temple, and preached the gospel,

the chief priests and the scribes came upon him with the elders,

                              And spake unto him, saying,

wat jou die mag gegee het daarvoor?
                              3 Hy het hulle geantwoord
that gave thee this authority? 3 And he answered

en gesÍ: Ek, gaan julle vra, dan vertel julle My:

and said unto them, I will also ask you one thing; and answer me:

                              Τὸ βάπτισμα Ἰωάνου ἐξ οὐρανοῦ ἦν ἢ ἐξ ἀνθρώπων;
The baptism of John, was it from heaven, or of men?

And they reasoned with themselves, saying, If we shall say,

                              uit die hemel, sal Hy vra hoekom het julle hom nie geglo nie;

                              Ἐξ οὐρανοῦ, ἐρεῖ Διὰ τί οὐκ ἐπιστεύσατε αὐτῷ;
From heaven; he will say, Why then believed ye him not?

But and if we say, Of men; all the people will stone us:

for they be persuaded that John was a prophet.

And they answered, that they could not tell whence it was.

watter gesag Ek hierdie dinge doen nie.

what authority I do these things.

And Jesus answered and said, while he taught in the temple,

                              Πῶς λέγουσιν οἱ γραμματεῖς ὅτι ὁ Χριστὸς υἱὸς Δαυείδ ἐστιν;
How say the scribes that Christ is the Son of David?

For David himself said by the Holy Ghost,

Die HERE het aan My HERE gesÍ: Rus aan my regterhand

The LORD said to my Lord, Sit thou on my right hand,

till I make thine enemies thy footstool.

37 Dawid self noem Hom HERE; nou vanwaar, is hy Sy Seun?
                              αὐτὸς Δαυεὶδ λέγει αὐτὸν Κύριον, καὶ πόθεν αὐτοῦ ἐστιν υἱός;
David … himself calleth him Lord; and whence is he then his son?

And the common people heard him gladly.

                              gekom nie; maar vir julle.
                              31 Nou is die oordeel van die wÍreld;
but for your sakes. 31 Now is the judgment of this world:

                              nou
now shall the prince of this world be cast out.

And I, if I be lifted up from the earth, will draw all men

na My toe aantrek. 33 Dit het Jesus gesÍ, verwysend na watter
unto me. 33 This he said, signifying what

                              dood Hy aanstonds sou sterf.
34 Toe weerspreek die mense Hom:
death he should die. 34 The people answered him,

                              Ons verneem uit die Wet dat die Gesalfde vir altyd bly;

We have heard out of the law that Christ abideth for ever:

                              καὶ πῶς λέγεις σὺ ὅτι δεῖ ὑψωθῆναι τὸν Υἱὸν τοῦ ἀνθρώπου;
and how sayest thou, The Son of man must be lifted up?

Watse Seun van die Mens is dit?

                              τίς ἐστιν οὗτος ὁ Υἱὸς τοῦ ἀνθρώπου;
who is this Son of man?

Then Jesus said unto them, Yet a little while is the light

                              hy is of gaan nie.
he goeth. 36 While ye have light, believe in the light, that

kinders van die lig mag word. Hierdie dinge het Jesus gespreek

ye may be the children of light. These things spake Jesus and

en weggegaan en Hom versteek weens hulle.

departed, and did hide himself from them.
