I should start a show on A&E: Heresy Hunter... Except that every time I found a heresy, dozen's of Christians would be telling me it's perfectly acceptable.

That's not a personal jab at you Mighty Sword.

I think there is, something about everything being in vain? I don't know, I call bad teaching, bad teaching (or heresy, heresy) and then I have everyone on my back. I mean, God uses drug addictions to bring people closer to him, doesn't mean we should all go get addicted to drugs...

Don't get me wrong, I know where you are coming from and can't disagree...I think it was the dry 'That's good' teaser that hit my funnybone. Just the way I read it I guess.

Thanks, I've needed a good laugh like that for weeks.

Guys, can I please ask you all to re-read the forum rules for reference?

Part of them that apply here: "Youth are permitted to discuss and fellowship with one another within the confines of a given topic. Members above 25 are allowed to give their input, but their posts must be addressed to the original poster of the thread."

If you're over 25, feel free to post, but please only respond to the OP. If you're under 25.... have at it.

I won't bother with deleting responses, and whatnot, as long as the rest of this thread does get back on track! You know how old you are..... have fun.

I love when artists use the advantages of being a mainstream superstar to share Jesus with people. Her newest song "Temporary Home" just came out and man... it's incredible. The song talks about three different stories, each giving the chorus a different meaning. The song follows a foster child and a single mom in a halfway house while they say that they know that this home is only temporary. It ends with an old man dying in a hospital bed, saying that he's seen God and that his life here on earth is only temporary. Carrie said that she was inspired by The Purpose Driven Life by Rick Warren. I know that many of you have probably read the book so I wanted to give you the chance to check out this article... it's really nice.

I loved the book and went through it together with a new believer. I was absolutely blessed by the Holy Spirit when I read the chapter on worship.

The book actually inspired a new christian who was an ex-muslim. So I have heard of the book and it is a bestseller here in my country. In fact many muslims were moved to start seeking the truth about Christianity after reading it.

I love the song by Carrie Underwood. Its good that we sing to His glory.
