Revelation, 1st century Jewish, 21st century Messianic

Were the 7 churches of Asia Minor Jewish? (To the Jew first)
John, an Apostle to the Jew, thus, a message to the Jew.
Is the Revelation a Messianic book that deals primarily with the nation of Israel, Jerusalem and the surrounding Muslim nations?

    What are your thoughts..

I think if this were so, the Jews would have embraced the book and made it part of their canon of scripture. They have not.

    all the best...

The book begins and ends with exhortation to the Church, the Body of Christ, which is made up of both Jew and Gentile. For in truth, there is neither Jew nor Gentile. The Church is the comprised of all peoples.

Where would you get the idea that the Revelation is concerned with "the surrounding Muslim nations"? If there's something within the Revelation itself, point it out.

The first verse of the book says that it is the Revelation of Jesus Christ. It deals primarily with revealing more of the fullness of Christ to us. We've seen him meek, as God become man. Now in Revelation we see him in his glory and power also. The principle subject of the book is not the tribulation, or the beast, or anything else. They all play a part, yes. But the book of Revelation primarily deals with the revealing of Christ.

    Hope that helps.

    Hello seeker_truth,

The Revelation was given to God’s Servants. God’s Servants were Sealed after the 6th seal was opened. Instructions for the Servants on helping God’s Elect through the tribulations are found in Revelation, and the Gospels.

Re 1:1 The Revelation of Jesus Christ, which God gave Him to show His servants-things which must shortly take place. And He sent and signified it by His angel to His servant John,

I do believe it is as you say Messianic book in a sense and yet it will involve the whole earth. Instead of saying "Muslim nation" I'd think it'd be better to say "the nations which surround Israel". It is the story of the end of the age involving all humanity and the powers.
