    I like it Ok. Get the flame throwers ready, but my favorite is actually the KJV that is published by Jimmy Swaggart ministries. Jimmy had someone change the articles to modern articles and left everything else alone. It reads fluid and absolutely, in no way, changed any meaning or structure of the KJV.

    I know of a Majority New Testament translation that I would recommend. It is called the New Covenant Scriptures. It can be ordered online at www.newcovenantscriptures.com

    Are you certain the NKJV was based on the Textus Receptus? Actually, the New King James isn't from the TR. Just a for instance, compare 1 Corinthians 1:18 between the King James and the NKJV. What do they read? Then compare it from the NKJV and all of the newer versions. This is just one example among bunches that would suggest it didn't. Just a thought.

    1st John 3:14 We know that we have passed from death unto life, because we love the brethren. He that loveth not his brother abideth in death.

    Hi fellow brothers and sisters, i have revised the KJV Bible based upon the Majority Text, as guided by: http://www.bible-researcher.com/hodges-farstad.html. As you can find in this revision, very minor variances are found between the KJV and the MT. There are 1,005 differences between them, almost of which are very trivial.

    I myself prefer the ESV or the NIV because they are easier to read and understand, though I do have a parallel bible as well

    Anyone answer me? Which editor had the comment above? I tried to contact with Professor Michael Marlowe but get no response.

    Hi bbbear2002;

    I'm not clear on what you are asking for here.

    Links are allowed as long as you describe what the reader will find when one follows the link to its destination. There are other restrictions as well as I copied below.

    We have added some rules to posting links:

    --If you post a link to another site, be it a video, article... whatever: Give a description of what it is that they will see. Just posting a link with a message such as "hey, check this out." will result in your post or thread being deleted.

    --No links soliciting to members other Christian message boards in posts, signatures, profiles or PM's, rep system, etc.

    --No linking to sites whos main objective is promoting the sales of products
    Other rules about attaching links and/or images:

    So links are allowed as long as they fall within the rules as stated above.

    I hope this helps clear any misunderstanding

    Dear brother Old man, thank you for your info. The link i have posted in last thread leads to a .docx file. This .docx document contains the entire King James Bible, with the part of New Testament revised by me according to*http://www.bible-researcher.com/hodges-farstad.html, while the part of Old Testament is kept unrevised and identical to KJV. All the differences between the KJV and the Majority Text (MT) are marked in the document, so you can easily discern the variances. Firstly i had considered to upload a pdf version of this, but after a second thought i uploaded the editable version. You can compare it with your KJV Bible at hand. Thank you.

    Any further information needed by the forum regulation, please?
