    Since I'm in the market for optics, may I ask why you went with the EOTech ?

    Fast sight acquisition mainly. Since I went with a heavy contour barrel, There will also be a scope forthcoming.

    Where is the compass in the stock and the thing that tells time???

    Psalm 19:14
    Let the words of my mouth, and the meditation of my heart, be acceptable in thy sight, O Lord, my strength, and my redeemer.

    No. It is for close quarters work. If I need something with more visibility, I will use Bertha.

    Hopefully, time permitting, I will post the pictures of the actual build process. I started with nothing more than this and built it over a period of 3 months.

    Eotech is the best close quarters optic on the market today, bar none.
    The minstrel boy to the war is gone,
    In the ranks of death ye will find him;
    His father's sword he hath girded on,
    And his wild harp slung behind him;
    "Land of Song!" said the warrior bard,
    "Tho' all the world betray thee,
    One sword, at least, thy rights shall guard,
    One faithful harp shall praise thee!
