Fast Food Restaurants That Have Gone Downhill

As the title suggests, name some FF places that have gone downhill, particularly in the area of food quality or portion size.

For me, I'd nominate Burger King and KFC. BK used to have pretty good burgers, flame grilled right in front of you. Now they're about half the size and microwaved, as best as I can tell. As for KFC... I think they've tampered with the Colonel's recipe.

    What at do you say?

They've tampered with the colonel too judging by the commercials. A new one every month or so it seems. They even had him coming out of the closet as a woman .

As far as their food ... still better than Popeye's.

Burger King used to be pretty good but the last time I had anything from them it was so disgusting I had to fight the urge to literally throw it out of the car window. There was a time you could get a decent burger without any of the rainbow goop all over it. Sadly those days look like they're past.

Now fast food is just that, fast. Whether it counts as food is open to debate. In most cases I'd say it doesn't.

I don't the colonel was coming out of the closet. It's a running gag that they use a different celebrity every few months. I think just to keep people watching.

George Hamilton is playing him now. For the "extra crispy" version. LOL! George Hamilton has been famous more so for his too-tanned-skin in recent decades than anything else.

You're right it is fast. I get the "right" order on occasions (from a specific Taco Bell near me). But what ever I get I get it fast.

Perhaps they don't care what they throw out their drive through windows as long as they do it fast.

Where I'm at ... for me, it's a place called "Panda Express". They have great orange chicken.

All of them are terrible. Prices are way too high. Having owned a deli, the "magic" formula for being profitable was to charge 3x the cost of the food (soda being the exception).

From my knowledge and observations of the quality and quantity of food received, the formula now seems to be 14x

My favorite is local mostly to Chicagoland. It’s called Portillo’s. They have a handful in Arizona and/or California but mostly here. Pricey but very good.

Noodle Express up here is healthy at least. For $8.00 you get two cups of rice with 1 oz of thinly sliced chicken along with $0.12 worth of cabbage and cucumbers.

It's ridiculous how much McDonalds charges. Although it seems their food has actually improved a little.

I live in a small town in Arizona so we only have a few and none that are my favorite. I like Chick Filet, Fazoli's (Italian), Wendy's and Captain D's (seafood).

I don't trust McD's it always gave me a stomach ache after eating their stuff.

I did forget Chick-fil-A that's good. I know because their spokes cows say so.
