Re: Praying for proper medical treatment

The specialist I was sent to has me on conservative treatment-- no surgery or a cast. Just the boot I already have.
I have fractures and ligament tears. I am concerned my paw will never be the same. I am not the Dr....
    Peace to you!

Oh dear....I will pray the Dr not be afraid to order better treatment.
Don't seek too much knowledge. You just may be putting more weight on your shoulders than you're able to bare. Let God be the one to decide how quickly you grow.

Scooby, I worked at a place where the company Dr was over ruled by the patients own Dr. Maybe you can get a 2nd opinion. Believing full recovery for you.

Prayers for a full healing for your foot.
"People do not drift toward holiness. Apart from grace-driven effort, people do not gravitate toward godliness, prayer, obedience to Scripture, faith, and delight in the Lord. We drift toward compromise and call it tolerance; We drift toward disobedience and call it freedom; We drift toward superstition and call it faith. We cherish the indiscipline of lost self-control and call it relaxation; we slouch toward prayerlessness and delude ourselves into thinking we have escaped legalism; we slide toward godlessness and convince ourselves we have been liberated?" - D A Carson

Continuing to pray for your paw and that God will be glorified in this no matter the result.

In essentials, unity; in non-essentials, liberty; in all things, charity. - Rupertus Meldenius

Read your Bible and pray every single day. - Pastor Jon Courson

If your grace ain't greasier than a bucket full of chitlin's and gravy, you might be a legalist - an internet friend.

That is actually a great idea journeyman. Go to your regular doctor if you don't get your getting proper medical care. But call for his advise first. You're entitled to a second opinion.

    Praying for a full recovery.
9 Let us not lose heart in doing good, for in due time we will reap if we do not grow weary. 10 So then, while we have opportunity, let us do good to all people, and especially to those who are of the household of the faith. - Galatians 6:9-10 NASB

Yes Saved7, people injured at work have to see the company Dr if there is one, but may go to their own physician also. There are guidelines to follow, such as time constraints. I'm not sure what they are.

Scooby, maybe contact the compensation board in your area to find out the proper procedure.

I am going to return to the Dr. I am seeing first..and ask him to address the issues I am having. I hope for a positive outcome.

I hope all goes well. I just wanted to tell you about another avenue to pursue in case you're not being correctly diagnosed.

I once saw a case where an injured worker went to a Dr who had the companys interest in mind, not
the worker. The company tried to force this guy back to work before he was healed. He was really messed up. He went to his own Dr and was properly treated. There is a procedure to follow in cases like that. God bless.

Re: Praying for proper medical treatment

After today some issues have come up with my medical treatment. I need prayer for guidance and confidence rather than fear. I may have to get a second opinion or even an attorney which I was avoiding in hopes that my care would not interfere with the insurance company that is paying them.
    Peace to you!
