    Lords Day of Wrath

We know from past history that the earth is vulnerable to sunspot activity. Usually this results in an aurora display and some interference to radio communications. However in 1989 the Quebec region of Canada was affected by a small Coronal Mass Ejection, which damaged the electric supply system and communications network. A much more powerful CME struck the earth in 1859, that severely damaged the early telegraph and power network, worldwide. Bible prophecy clearly tells us that this will be the means that the Lord will use to punish His enemies in these end times, when they commence their attack on the State of Israel.

When God punished mankind in Noah’s time, He then promised to never again use a flood, or kill practically all the living creatures, however evil they may be. Genesis 8:21 Now, Peter tells us that the earth is ‘reserved for burning, the Day of judgement when the godless will be destroyed. On that Day the sky will disappear with a great noise and heat and flames will burn the earth with its works’. 2 Peter 3:7 & 10 So, this CME will not destroy everything, most will survive – it will quickly pass and the world will recover, but not as we know it today.

Isaiah 30:25b-28 On the Day of massacre, when fortresses fall, the sun will shine seven times stronger, like seven days in one. The Lord comes from afar, His anger blazing and His doom heavy as a devouring fire. He sieves the nations for destruction. Isaiah 33:10-12
Malachi 4:1 The Day comes, burning like a furnace, all the Lord’s enemies will become as stubble, set ablaze.

Isaiah 28:2 God has a mighty and strong force, it will beat down violently upon the earth, as a sweeping storm and a destroying tempest.
Psalm 2:7-9 You are My Son, I give the earth to You as a possession. You will break the nations with a rod of iron, shatter them like a clay pot.
Matthew 3:12 His winnowing fork in His hand, ready to clear His threshing floor. He will gather the good grain into the store, but the chaff, He will burn and destroy.

Psalm 18:7-15 The earth shook and quaked, shaking because of the Lord’s anger. He came down from heaven with devouring fire, glowing coals and searing heat. Thick cloud covered Him, as He thundered from above and hurled lightning bolts far and wide.
Psalm 83:13-15 Scatter Your enemies, Lord, like chaff in the wind, as fire rages through a forest, pursue and terrify them with Your storm winds.
Isaiah 13:9-13 The Day of the Lord is coming, a cruel Day of wrath and fierce anger to reduce the earth to desolation and to destroy all the wicked there. Humans will become scarce and the earth shaken to its foundations at the wrath of the Lord on that Day of His blazing anger.
Isaiah 66:15-16 The Lord is coming in fire, like a whirlwind with the flaming fire of His rebuke. He will judge with fire, testing all mankind and many will be slain by Him.
Ezekiel 20:47 & Ezekiel 21:4 I am about to kindle a fire in Israel, it will kill the righteous and wicked alike, My sword of slaughter is against everyone from the Negev, northward.

Ezekiel 30:1-5 & 16 Wail: Alas for the Day of the Lord in near, A Day of darkness and gloom for the nations. Death will come upon Egypt, all the Arab peoples will fall on the day I set Egypt on fire.

From these prophecies, we can see that this is not the final judgement, or the Great Day of the Sovereign Lord - the Return of Jesus, but is the judgement of the nations, the next prophesied event, the Sixth Seal reset of our civilization.

Note this: Hebrews 10:12-13 Christ will not [physically] Return until His enemies are made His footstool. Psalm 110:1

    Re: Lords Day of Wrath

    We have exchanged views before and seem to have agreed to disagree. I would thus only point to one thing in your posting. There are about 10 billion galaxies in the observable universe! The number of stars in a galaxy varies, but assuming an average of 100 billion stars per galaxy means that there are about 1,000,000,000,000,000,000,000 (that's 1 billion trillion) stars in the observable universe! According to Psalm 33:6, "By the word of the LORD were the heavens made; and all the host of them by the breath of his mouth", God can just "breath out" suns like ours, and much bigger ones - a billion trillion of them (that are known). So great a God does not need a CME to burn the earth. It could be a CME, but there is no evidence that God will use it. The two scriptures that directly talk of this matter are;
    1. Revelation 14:18; "And another angel came out from the altar, which had power over fire; and cried with a loud cry to him that had the sharp sickle, saying, Thrust in thy sharp sickle, and gather the clusters of the vine of the earth; for her grapes are fully ripe."
    2. Revelation 20:9; "And they went up on the breadth of the earth, and compassed the camp of the saints about, and the beloved city: and fire came down from God out of heaven, and devoured them."

God does not need a CME. He can give His power of fire to an angel to execute, and when it is such that God decides to judge men, the fire comes from HIM out of heaven - the throne of God.

You forget that the first civilization was destroyed by water, sent by God and this present world is reserved for burning, when; once again the godless will be destroyed. 2 Peter 3:5-7
God will again use His Creation and this time, His storehouse, the sun will provide the means. Deuteronomy 32:34-43, Isaiah 30:26, Psalms 50:1-3

The reason it will be a CME, is so that the secular survivors can continue in their disbelief of a Creator God. Just a natural disaster, they will say.
As the narrative of Revelation plays out, most of the world will worship the 'beast'; the leader of the One World Govt, that will be formed soon after the Sixth Seal disaster.
Your quote from Rev 20:9, is of course another event and may again be another CME, as is also the Fourth Bowl; Revelation 16:8

Thanks for your answer. I have read it and noted it.

    Re: Lords Day of Wrath

When the Son of Man comes: [Different event from when the Son of God Returns in glory]
Luke 17:29-30 On the day that Sodom was destroyed, fire and sulphur rained upon them and killed them all. It will be like that again when the Son of Man is revealed. Amos 4:11-12
Matthew 24:37-42 As it was in the days of Noah, so will it be when the Son of Man comes. In the days before the flood, they ate, drank and married until the day that Noah entered the ark, they knew nothing until the flood came and swept them all away. That is how it will be again when the Son of Man comes. In His vengeance and wrath, not in His glory.
Genesis 9:11-14 My covenant to never again destroy all living creatures by a flood is confirmed by the sign of the rainbow.

Deuteronomy 32:22 & 34-35 I have sealed in My storehouse, ready for the Day of punishment and vengeance, a fire that will be set ablaze by My anger. It will envelope the world in flames, burning to the depths of the earth. Jeremiah 50:25
Psalm 110:1-6....I shall make Your enemies Your footstool....In glorious majesty, You judge the nations, shattering the wicked throughout the world.

Isaiah 24:18-23 On that Day, the Lord will punish in heaven the host of heaven and on earth the leaders of the nations are caught and punished. The sun and moon will be darkened, for the glory of the Lord will be in Jerusalem and is revealed to the elders of His people.
2 Peter 3:5-7 & 10....the world before Noah was destroyed by a great flood. Now, by God’s Word the present heavens and earth are reserved for burning, kept for the Day of judgement when the godless will be destroyed. That Day will come unexpectedly, the sky will dissipate with a great noise and the earth will be enveloped in flames. All its inhabitants will be tested.
Isaiah 66:1-6 My people are oppressed and afflicted and evil people displease Me, they say: Let the Lord come, we do not believe in Him. Therefore, the noise you can hear is the Lord dealing retribution to His foes. Romans 1:18, Hebrews 10:27
Matthew 24:40-44 There will be two men in a field, one will be taken the other left, two women at the mill, one will be taken, the other left. Keep awake, therefore for the Lord will come unexpectedly.
Isaiah 63:1-6 The Lord comes from the godless nations, in His power and majesty, He tramples them in His fury, their blood spills out and splashes His garments.
At the Return He comes in blood splashed garments.

2 Thessalonians 1:6-10...the Day the Lord Jesus is revealed from heaven in flaming fire….He will reveal His glory among all believers. Revelation 14:1
What we can understand from the above Bible passages, is that the Day of the Lord, when the Son of Man takes action, is not Jesus’ Return as the Word of God, for the Millennium reign. At the Return: ‘all will see Him’, not as in this Lord’s Day of vengeance and wrath, where He is not seen: Psalms 18:11, Luke 3:17, but ‘His glory will be revealed to all believers’. 2 Thessalonians 1:10

God promised to ‘never again flood the earth’, but He has ‘stored up a fire that will envelope the earth in flames, a worldwide judgement/punishment, vividly described by all the prophets.
This terrible fire and devastation will come upon the world unexpectedly, ‘While they are saying: All is peaceful, all secure, then destruction is upon them’. 1 Thess. 5:3 Huge numbers will be killed by the fire, earthquakes and the resulting famines afterward. Jeremiah 9:22, Isaiah 34:1-8, Ezekiel 30:2-5
The Lord is not seen on that Day, but His people are saved and protected, [not raptured] Isaiah 30:26b, Isaiah 43:2, Zechariah 9:5-16

Then, as in Ezekiel 20:33-38...by My outpoured wrath, [The Day of wrath] I shall bring you out of the nations and gather you back to Israel. The Lord is: ‘Waiting to show you His favour’, and to bless His true believing people as they fulfill the promises to the Patriarchs and their destiny: ‘to be a light to the nations’. Isaiah 49:8, Matthew 5:14-16

So then you agree that this

Rev 19:11 And I saw heaven opened, and behold a white horse; and he that sat upon him was called Faithful and True, and in righteousness he doth judge and make war. 12 His eyes were as a flame of fire, and on his head were many crowns; and he had a name written, that no man knew, but he himself. 13 And he was clothed with a vesture dipped in blood: and his name is called The Word of God. 14 And the armies which were in heaven followed him upon white horses, clothed in fine linen, white and clean.

    is different than this

1 Thess 4:16 For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first: 17 Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord. 18 Wherefore comfort one another with these words.

Rev 1:7 Behold, he cometh with clouds; and every eye shall see him, and they also which pierced him: and all kindreds of the earth shall wail because of him. Even so, Amen.

No; your quotes are about the glorious Return of Jesus for His Millennium reign. As the Lord Almighty and every eye will see Him. Revelation 16:14

The different event I refer to, is the Sixth Seal, when the Lord will come unexpectedly; as a thief, in a sudden and shocking worldwide disaster, as described in over 100 prophesies. This will set the scene for all that must happen before He Returns.

Oh... Never mind then I believe that 1 Thess 4 and Matt 24, and Rev 1:7 all happen before Rev 19:11, because in Rev 9:11 Jesus is nowhere near clouds, or angels, or trumpets... Jesus is with an Army of Saints, not Angels. He does not come down on clouds, but rather a horse. The Riders in White do not have trumpets, but rather horses. A simple study of events will reveal this truth...

    Edit - Rev 19, not 9...

    Re: Lords Day of Wrath

The Word of God [the Bible] tells us that He is the Creator of all things. He has the ability to do anything that he chooses. He made the earth and set humans upon it.
It’s been nearly 2000 years since the last time we were given Divine instructions, that is: as written in the Bible. Since then, people have mostly pursued their own interests, worshipping false gods, promoting evolution and denying the existence of their Creator.
We are told that thousands of years ago people were in a similar situation, having degenerated into apostasy and sin. Only one righteous man and his family were kept alive as God destroyed all the rest by a worldwide flood. Jesus predicted that ‘once again it will be as in the days of Noah’ and when He comes again, we should be prepared. Matthew 24:37-44
The Creator God ‘reset civilization’ in Noah’s day and now we are facing the same judgement. God promised after the Flood, to never again use water or wipe out life so completely. Genesis 9:11
But in Deuteronomy 32:22 & 34-35, He tells us of a terrible fire punishment stored up for His enemies, on their Day of Doom. Isaiah 54:9-10
There are many descriptions in the prophesies of this sudden and devastating worldwide Day of fire and earthquakes, most are either ignored or allegorized because people cannot see any literal fulfilment. The biggest difficulty that most have, is realizing the difference between the Lord’s Day of vengeance and wrath and the Return of Jesus in His glory.

Isaiah 13:9-13 The Day of the Lord is coming, that cruel Day of wrath and fierce anger, to reduce the earth to desolation and to destroy the wicked there. The sun, moon and stars will give no light. Humans will become scarce, as rare as fine gold and the earth will quake at the wrath of God on the Day of His blazing anger.
This and many other prophesies cannot be reconciled with the glorious Return of Jesus, accompanied by His Angel army; Matthew 16:27, when ‘every eye will see Him’. It is clearly stated that on the Day of wrath, He will not be seen. Psalms 18:11, Habakkuk 3:4, Psalms 11:4-6

    Re: Lords Day of Wrath

Here are Bible passages that confirm the fact that the Day of the Lord’s vengeance and wrath is some time before His glorious Return. His people, righteous Israel, every faithful Christian who believes in God and keeps His Commandments, will live there in prosperity and peace. Ezekiel 34:11-31, Ezekiel 39:25-29, Isaiah 35:1-10, Amos 9:13-15

Isaiah 66:15-24 ...the Lord coming in fire [not on a cloud, in His glory, not seen at this time],
    ...bringing retribution in anger.
The Lord will judge with fire and sword and test all mankind. All those unclean and wicked will die.

I will gather peoples of every tongue- they: [all Christians] will see My glory. 2 Thessalonians 1:10....revealed to His own.
I shall put a sign on [some of] those survivors and will send them to declare My glory to all the nations. [before the Return –these are the 144,000, Rev 7 & 14, Isaiah 66:19
From all the world, your fellow peoples will come, on every conveyance, like offerings to the Lord. Some will become My priests. Revelation 5:10
His Christian people will rebuild the Temple and serve in it. 1 Peter 2:9, Rev. 11:1-2]
As the New heavens and New earth that I am making will endure, so will your posterity endure This will happen at the end of the Millennium, Revelation 21:1-7
All mankind will come to bow before Me. They will see what happened to those who rebelled against Me. This will happen during the Millennium. Zechariah 14:16

Jeremiah 30:3 ...both Israel and Judah will return to the Land. A remnant; only as faithful Christians. But, first the Land is cleared and cleansed:
Jeremiah 30:4-11 The Lord says to Israel and Judah, “How awful is that Day, a cry of terror, anguish for Jacob. [His people, their faith tested.. Psalms 30:4-5, Eze 21:7
On that Day, I will save My people. [the terrible Day of the Lord/the sixth seal, coronal mass ejection from the sun. Isaiah 30:26, Isaiah 32:15-20
    Do not despair
, [faithful] Israel, I will bring you back safely from afar. Isaiah 51:3

Deuteronomy 32:41-43 I will sharpen My flashing sword and take vengeance on those who hate Me. Rejoice, you heavens, He will avenge His people and cleanse their Land. Ref: REB some verses abridged.

There is a wonderful logic in the promise that those people who love the Lord will live in the Promised Land and all those prophecies to His holy people will be fulfilled. They will settle there and be “a light to all nations” as God originally intended.
Isaiah 60:3.... over you, His glory will appear and nations will travel to your light.
Very soon, there will be worldwide, dramatic events, especially in the Middle East, which will completely change the area. The Lord’s faithful people will go to live in all of the holy Land.
When the Lord Jesus returns, He will save those people from the attacking armies of the Anti Christ. The sudden and complete destruction of those armies as described in
Rev. 19:17-21, does not match the 6th Seal– Rev 6:12-17, or the many other verses describing the Lord’s Day of wrath and vengeance. Amos 5:18-20, Joel 2:11
Then those Gentile people who have refused the “mark of the beast” will join them, Matthew 24:31, and live in the Land, Isaiah 56:8, under King Jesus, for 1000 years.

    Re: Lords Day of Wrath

This much prophesied, still to come, Lords Day of vengeance and wrath – may happen at the same time as the next Middle East attack. People think there may be a nuclear exchange, but what is more certain is what the prophets say:
Jeremiah 50:25 The Lord opens His armoury and brings forth the weapons of His wrath, for this is His work to be done in the lands of the godless peoples.
Isaiah 34:5 For My sword appears in heaven, it descends in judgement.
Psalm 11:6 The Lord is in heaven, raining fiery coals onto the wicked.
Isaiah 66:15-16 See, the Lord is coming in fire, like a whirlwind. He will judge with fire, His sword will test mankind and many will be slain by Him.
Isaiah 33:10-12 Now I shall arise, says the Lord, I will exalt Myself. You will be as chaff and stubble, a wind like fire will consume you. Whole nations will be heaps of white ash, like thorns cut down and set on fire.
Psalm 144:5-6 Lord, part the heavens. Make lightning flashes far and wide.
Isaiah 30:30 Then the Lord will make His voice heard in majesty...descending in fierce anger with devouring flames of fire amid storms and hail.
Jeremiah 30:23-24 See what a scorching wind has gone out from God, a sweeping whirlwind which whirls around the heads of the wicked. The Lords fierce anger is not to be turned aside until He has fully accomplished His purposes.
In Days to come you will understand.

Isaiah 29:5-6 Yet, the horde of Your enemies will crumble into dust, fly away like chaff. Suddenly in an instant punishment will come from the Lord, with storms, thunder, earthquakes and great noise and a flame of devouring fire.
Isaiah 9:19 The land is scorched by the Lord, the people are like fuel for the fire.
Isaiah 10:17 The Light of Israel will become as fire, its Holy One a flame, which, in one day will burn up and consume His thorns and briars.
Isaiah 30:26-30 On the Day that the Lord saves His people, the sun will shine with seven times its usual brightness, like seven days in one and the moon will be as bright as the sun...….
See; the Lord comes from afar, His anger blazing and His doom heavy. His lips are charged with wrath and His tongue is a devouring fire. His breath is like a torrent in spate. He sieves out the nations for destruction.
    Isaiah 63:1-6

What these (and other) prophecies say, seem to be describing, is sunspot activity.
Maybe the sun is building up to a huge coronal mass ejection. This can happen very suddenly and unexpectedly, reaching earth within hours and would be capable of causing enormous damage and deaths worldwide.
All electrical and communications systems, industry, transport, you name it, could be destroyed, or at least severely damaged. Armies would be back to 1800’s technology.

    Re: Lords Day of Wrath

The Effects of a hit by a Coronal Mass Ejection:
Zephaniah 2:4 Gaza will be deserted, Ashkelon and Ashdod left a waste, their people gone at noonday.
Amos 1:7-8 I shall send fire to consume the houses of Gaza and I shall wipe out the inhabitants of Ashdod and Ekron and all the Philistines who are left will perish.
These prophecies tell us that at ‘noonday’, the Lord will ‘send fire’ upon the coastal cities of Gaza and Israel. Other prophecies say how all the Middle East will be severely affected:
Ezekiel 30:1-5...Cush, Put, Libya, Egypt and all the allied Arab lands will fall on the Lord’s Day of Reckoning for the nations.
Jeremiah 49:2 The time is coming when Ammon [Jordan] will become a desolate mound, their villages burnt to ashes.
Amos 2:4-5 For the crimes of Judah, [the State of Israel] there will be no reprieve. I shall send fire on Judah, to consume the palaces of Jerusalem.

From many other prophecies, we know that this terrible fire judgement will be triggered by the commencement of an attack by an Ishmaelite confederation upon Israel: Psalm 83, Psalms 7:12-15, Obadiah 1:15, Habakkuk 3:14. However the Coronal Mass Ejection, as we are told, [Isaiah 30:26] that the Lord will use on that Day, will affect all the world to a greater or lesser extent:
2 Peter 3:7 & 10...all the earth will be brought to judgement.
Isaiah 66:15-17 The Lord will judge with fire and will test all mankind. All the wicked will die.
Zephaniah 3:8 On the Day I stand up and pour My wrath on the whole earth, it will be enveloped by My burning anger.
Isaiah 24:1 Be warned, the Lord is about to strip the earth... everyone will be affected.

Some factors to consider with a CME:
1/ The earth’s rotation. We can see that this direct strike at mid-day onto the Middle East, will affect all that half of the earth facing the sun and as the earth rotates Eastward, the Americas will be next, then New Zealand, Australia, Asia, etc. This will be just a one Day event, because this mass of superheated cosmic particles will be travelling from 2 to 5 million miles per hour, in 24 hours, it will be gone, on its way to outer space.
2/ The orbital speed around the sun. With an orbital speed of 66,000 miles per hour and the diameter of the earth of 7,900 miles, what will happen is the earth will quickly move away from this direct hit. The countries affected later will receive a glancing blow and it is this that actually pushes the earth and speeds up its orbit, thereby giving us a 360 day year, making the time periods given in Revelation and Daniel a reality. Isaiah 24:19-20
3/ The earth’s precession. This is the wobble of the earth’s axis, that causes the seasons. Most of the earth’s population live in the Northern Hemisphere and it may be that this event will happen during their winter, because it seems that most will survive there.

Be aware that because of the severe earthquakes; the earth ‘reeling and shaking’, 2 Samuel 22:8, Isaiah 29:6, Haggai 2:21, Revelation 6:12, Amos 8:8 ‘The whole earth will surge and seethe like the Nile.’.. the oceans and lakes will slosh from side to side and huge tsunamis are prophesied. Jeremiah 51:42 So anyone living near a coast should be prepared to go quickly to high ground. But everyone should heed the warning and have a place prepared to take shelter from the extreme temperatures, storm winds and earthquakes.

Isaiah 14:24 & 26 ‘My plan for the whole world, will surely take place’.

    Re: Lords Day of Wrath

Ezekiel 20:30 Go: tell the Israelites, the Lord God says: Are you defiling yourselves as your forefathers did and lusting after other gods?
Israelites; now every Christian person, the Overcomers for God.

Ezekiel 20:31-32 You are defiling yourselves this very day with your false religions and insincere faith. My people, I refuse to be consulted by you. You can never be like other peoples, who worship idols.
The idols of materialism and self gratification.

Ezekiel 20:33-36 As I live, says the Lord, I shall reign over you with a strong hand and by My wrath, I shall bring you out from the nations and gather you from the countries where you have been dispersed. I shall bring you into the Meeting place in the desert, there I shall confront you and bring you to judgement. Just as I did in Egypt with your forefathers, so I shall judge you.
The same as in the first Exodus, The Lord is not seen by them, so this happens before the Return of Jesus.

Ezekiel 20:37-38 I shall make you pass under the rod [of judgement] and I will bring you into the bond of the Covenant. All those who rebel or revolt against Me will not set foot on the soil of Israel.

Ezekiel 20:39-42 Now, you Israelites – go serve your idols. But in days to come you will be punished for it, then no more will you desecrate My holy Name. For there, in the land of Israel, all My chosen people will serve Me. After I have restored you to the Land of your ancestors, I shall require your offerings and gifts and then I will accept you as a fragrant incense. Isaiah 45:16-17
All My chosen people; John 15:16-19, 1 Peter 2:9-10

Ezekiel 20:42-44 When I resettle you into all of the Holy Land, you will despise yourselves for your past conduct and you will know that I am your God. Not as your wickedness deserves, but as the honour of My Holy Name demands. Isaiah 43:25
Ezekiel 20:45-48 The Word of the Lord came to me: Ezekiel, turn and face toward the South, prophesy to the desert of the Negev. Say to it: The Lord God says – I am about to set a fire in you and it will consume all flammable things. Its fiery flame will not be put out and all people from the South to the North will be scorched by it. All will see that it is I, the Lord, who has set it ablaze, unable to be quenched.
Reference: REB, NIV, KJV. Some verses condensed.

Verse 30-32 Judah, the Jews and Israel, the nominal Christian peoples alike are atheistic, apostate, they pursue false doctrines, false religions and materialism. This is not their destiny. Isaiah 48:13, Isaiah 60:3.

Verse 33-38 After the Day of vengeance and wrath, the Lord will gather His people into all that area given to Abraham. Isaiah 14:1-2, Isaiah 35:1-10, Jeremiah 5:26, Isaiah 1:25.

Verse 39-40 Do as you will for now, but judgement will come. Isaiah 41:1, Hosea 12:2 In the new nation of Beulah, Isaiah 62:1-5, His righteous people will serve Him. Isaiah 26:2, Isaiah 29:22-23, Isaiah 66:20-21, 1 Peter 2:9-10. “You will know that I am your God” this statement would be unnecessary if all of this prophecy takes place after the Return of Jesus. All this happens before that. His people: a righteous nation, living in peace and prosperity in the Holy Land – being a light to the nations and His witnesses; preparing the world for the Return. Isaiah 42:6 & 43:10

Verse 45-48 There is no record of an event as described, having happened in Israel. The description is what would result from a Coronal Mass Ejection, explosion of the suns surface. Isaiah 30:26
This will be the Lord’s Day of vengeance and wrath, which will clear and cleanse all the area of Greater Israel. Deut. 32:43, Isaiah 63:1-6 & 21:1 & 9:18-19 & 33:10-12 & 10:17-19, Ezekiel 21:1-5, Jeremiah 9:25-26 & 23:19-20. Revelation 6:12-17.

    Re: Lords Day of Wrath

Ezekiel 35:1-5 Look toward all the lands of the Edomites and pronounce judgement upon them. The Lord says: I shall stretch out My hand to strike your land, I will reduce it to a desolate waste and your towns will be ruined. Then you will know that I am the Lord, for you have kept up an ancient feud and shed the blood of the Israelites by warfare, during the time of their punishment. [by exile]

Ezekiel 35:6-9 Therefore as I live, says the Lord: I shall make blood your destiny, since you do not hate killing and death, that will come upon you. Your land and cities will become desolate wastes forever and no one will travel there. I will cover the hills and valleys with the dead, your towns will not be inhabited.

Ezekiel 35:10-14 You say: the two nations and two countries [The ten tribes of Israel and the two tribes of Judah] will be our possession, even though the Lord has been there. Therefore your anger and jealousy will be repaid, for I will do to the whole of Edom what you have done in your hatred for My people. I shall be known among you - for the way I judge you, you will know that the Lord has punished you. [by the means of a CME sunstrike.
Isaiah 30:26-30] I have heard all your blasphemous talk about the Land of Israel, saying: the Land is ours to occupy. You have boasted and spoken against Me without restraint. So, now I will destroy you, while the whole world rejoices, As you rejoiced at the inheritance of the House of Israel, when it was desolated, so I will do to you, all your lands will be devastated.
Reference: REB, NIV, KJV. Some verse abridged

The Edomites can be identified as those nations and entities - that hate My people and have kept up their ancient feud with Israel, those peoples who currently occupy a large portion of the area promised to the Patriarchs and who now threaten the Jewish State of Israel with annihilation. Psalms 83:13-15, describes how the Lord’s Day of wrath will deal to them, as they commence their attack on Israel. Isaiah 30:26, Psalms 7:12-16, Isaiah 8:9-10, Obadiah 1:15, Micah 4:11-12
Psalms 83:12 informs us that the goal of this alliance is total possession of all the Land of Israel. This is exactly as the Charters of Hamas and Fatah state; they are not interested in a two State solution, all the Jews must either leave or be killed. THEY love killing and death. Ezekiel 35:6

Many people believe that the next prophesied event in our world will be the Gog/ Magog invasion. Others say it’s the tribulation – preceded by a rapture of the church. Some think the Return of Jesus will be next. That it will be none of these is told to us in the Book of the prophet Ezekiel, chapters 34, 35, 36, 37, 38 & 39 they all speak about the Israelites, who are now all of God’s faithful people; being gathered out of the nations and settled into the Holy Land of Israel. Those chapters are written in a fairly obvious sequence of events.
Ezekiel 34:12-13 ‘I will rescue My sheep [people] from where they were scattered in the Day of cloud and darkness, I will lead them out of the nations and bring them home to their own country’. Amos 5:18, Isaiah 13:9-10
Then comes Ezekiel 35, where it is explained how this gathering and resettlement can take place.

This attack by the peoples surrounding Israel will result in their destruction, but the Bible prophecies also say that Judah too, will be judged at this time and ‘only a holy remnant will survive’. The Land is not polluted by nuclear radiation and as the CME the Lord will use, quickly passes, the vegetation soon regenerates. Psalms 68:9, Ezekiel 36:8 You, Land of Israel, grow your trees and bear fruit, for the homecoming of My people is near.
This opens the way for all the faithful Christian peoples to emigrate to their heritage. Later will come the invasion by Gog/Magog – a different list of peoples and nations. They attack the Israelites ‘gathered from the nations and living in a land recently recovered from ruin’. Ezekiel 38:8 Their total destruction is ‘to show Myself Holy and make Myself known to many peoples’. Ezekiel 38:23 The rest of the prophecies will then unfold – the rise of the Anti Christ, the Tribulation and then, the culmination of the age: the Return of Jesus for His 1000 year reign.

    Re: Lords Day of Wrath

It looks to me like you are trying to convince yourself. Since a rebuttal in posting #8, you have posted exclusively to yourself in posting #s 9, 10, 11, 12, 13 and 14. But let me ask a question. With all this destruction, how does...
    • The Church survive? After all, Revelation 13:7 says that the Beast will overcome them
    • Israel survive. After all, besides Daniel 7.12 where the Beast also overcomes Daniel's people, our Lord Jesus said that NO SIGN would be given them save that of Jonah. This we know to have been fulfilled. So in Matthew 24:30 a SIGN is given to the People of the Land where our Lord Jesus touches down - Judah. How come? This could only take place if the "evil and adulterous generation" where GONE! But if they are gone then how is Revelation 1:7 possible? "Behold, he cometh with clouds; and every eye shall see him, and they also which pierced him: and all kindreds of the earth shall wail because of him. Even so, Amen."
